TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a conveyor belt for conveying objects upward at a steep slope, and in particular to a conveyor belt made of a resin conveyor belt. In response to the demand for steeply sloped conveyor belts for light conveyance applications, conventional rubber belts have limitations in making the entire conveyor lighter and more compact due to limitations in belt manufacturing and processing methods. On the other hand, with a resin conveyor belt, the total thickness and unit weight of the belt body are approximately 1/3 that of a rubber belt, and the minimum pulley diameter can be used with approximately three times the flange height, so for example, if the flange height is 40 mm, The diameter of the pulley is 120 mm, which reduces the weight of the belt. The light weight of the pulley dramatically improves the workability when loading the belt, and also has the advantage that the entire machine can be made lighter and more compact in proportion to the lighter load. be. By the way, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, as a steeply inclined conveyor belt for light conveyance use, S-shaped flanges 6 are erected on both side edges of a belt-shaped belt base, and a horizontal bar 7 is provided between the two S-shaped flanges. are arranged around the entire circumference at predetermined intervals, and the belt base extends outward from the part where the S-shaped flange 6 is erected to form a free zone. The belt 1 has an upper head pulley 2 and a lower tail pulley. A conveyor device is known in which the conveyor belt is wound around three belts and circulates, and includes one or more bending portions in the portion of the belt that transitions from the horizontal portion to the inclined portion. However, such a conveyor device
The rollers 5 that support the back surface of the conveyor belt at the bending section usually have a radius equal to the radius of the curve of the bending section, and one roller having a width slightly longer than the belt width, or a plurality of small radius rollers arranged on the radius of curvature. The installed rollers are used, and on the other hand, the rollers 4 that support the surface of the conveyor belt are each equipped with one roller (usually called a disc roller) having the same radius of curvature as the bending part. and used. When a disc roller is used in the angle bending portion, the conveying device becomes large because the radius is the same as the radius of curvature, and it becomes extremely difficult to make the conveyor belt lightweight and compact, which is one of the characteristics of the resin conveyor belt conveying device. In view of this, the inventors of the present invention previously proposed a method of using a plurality of small radius rollers, usually bend rollers, at the bending section as a mechanism to support the surface of the resin conveyor belt. If a bend roller with a small radius is used for a large radius of curvature of the belt, the area for receiving the belt becomes small, which increases bending fatigue of the belt and causes problems such as meandering and buckling of the belt during conveyance. Additionally, if the distance between the axes of the bend rollers is increased, the belt may sag or buckle at the center of the belt between the bend rollers, making it difficult to convey the object and, in extreme cases, causing problems such as the belt coming off the bend rollers. We found that this leads to The present invention is based on the above-mentioned knowledge, and has been arrived at as a result of intensive research into the above-mentioned problems. In supporting the surface of a resin conveyor belt,
It is an object of the present invention to provide a tapered bend roller and its arrangement that reduce bending fatigue of the belt at the bending portion and prevent the belt from bending, buckling, and meandering. That is, the present invention is characterized in that in a mechanism in which a tapered bend roller as described above is provided on the bend roller arrangement radius of curvature, the bend roller arrangement radius of curvature (R), the ratio F of the belt being wound around the bend roller, and Define each relation of center distance L between bend rollers, 0.05≦F≦
The point is that R, r, and n (where n is the number of bend rollers of 2 or more) are set so as to satisfy the following conditions: 0.2, 1.01≦L/2r≦1.8. Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be further described in detail based on the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 shows a series of mechanisms of the conveying device for the steeply inclined conveyor belt, in which a belt with a resin crosspiece 1 is suspended between a head pulley 2 at a high position and a tail pulley 3 at a low position, This shows a mode in which the belt running direction is changed by the tapered bend roller 4 and the roller 5 on the back side of the belt. FIG. 2 shows an enlarged view of the lower carrier side bend roller bending portion A1 in FIG. 1 .
Now, referring to FIG. 2, we will consider each element that is the basis for setting appropriate conditions that constitute each feature of the present invention. The inclination angle φ of the belt 1, the radius of curvature of the bend roller arrangement is R, and the radius of the bend roller is rn ( However, 2 or more)
If the angle formed by two adjacent rollers of the bend roller is θ, and the length of the belt at the bending part is L′n, L′n is the length OP of the circular arc with a radius of (R+r). ) double. That is, L′n={2π(R+r)×
θ/360}×(n-1) However, from the relationship φ=(n-1)θ, L'n=2π(R+r)φ/360... On the other hand, the length of the belt wrapped around the bend roller ln is ln=2πr×θ/360×(n-1) =2πr・φ/360... Therefore, the ratio F of the belt being wrapped around the bend roller at the bending part is given by the above formula: F=ln/L'n = 2πr It has been confirmed that the bending fatigue rate increases, resulting in belt meandering and buckling, which causes conveyance troubles.
It has been demonstrated that if the value of is larger than 0.2, the belt conveying device becomes large, making it impossible to make it lighter and more compact. Therefore, in order to eliminate the above drawbacks, it is an important condition to set the value of F in the range of 0.05 to 0.2. However, as is clear from the above equation, the value of F is independent of the number of bend rollers and depends on their radius. In this case, it is insufficient to simply control the rate at which the belt is wound around the bend rollers, and it is important to appropriately set the interval between the bend rollers. To clarify this point, the distance L between the centers of adjacent bend rollers is expressed by the following formula, as is clear from FIG. That is, L=2Rsinθ/2=2Rsinφ/2(n-1)...Here, the lower limit of the value of L is inevitably regulated due to the dimensional restriction that allows the bend roller to be placed and attached. On the other hand, if the upper limit value of L is larger than a certain value, a phenomenon occurs in which the vicinity of the center part 8 in the width direction of the belt 1 shown in FIGS. The drive becomes unstable, resulting in a decrease in the conveyed amount of the wheeled object, or the belt meandering, or in extreme cases, the belt cannot be supported by the bend rollers 4 and the belt separates. Furthermore, the S-shaped flanges 6 disposed in the longitudinal direction of both side edges of the belt 1 come into contact with the bend rollers 4, causing wear and adversely affecting the horizontal crosspieces 7 for supporting conveyed objects, making it impossible to actually use the belt. Become. Therefore, the value of L is 1.01 to 1.01 of the bend roller diameter.
The second important condition is to design within the range of 1.8. That is, when α is the coefficient for arranging the bend rollers and maintaining the shortest driveable distance, and β is the coefficient that defines the upper limit distance that can prevent the resin conveyor belt from being deflected between the bend rollers, α It is appropriate and effective to normally set 1.01 and β to 1.8. Expressing this in a formula, 1.01≦L/2r≦1.8...Thus, by satisfying both the above conditions of 0.05≦F≦0.2 and 1.01≦L/2r≦1.8, a steeply inclined conveyance mechanism using a resin conveyor belt can be realized. It is understood that this method overcomes the drawbacks of the prior art. Next, a conveying device for a steeply inclined conveyor belt according to the present invention will be described with reference to embodiments. (Example) Three types of conveyor transport devices shown in Table 1 were created based on resin conveyor belts and frames according to the following specifications. In addition, in order to clearly compare the comparative example with the apparatus implementing the present invention, comparative example 1 uses L/2r, and comparative example 2
The bend roller arrangement curvature radius R, the bend roller radius r, and the number n of bend rollers were set so that the value of F was outside the appropriate condition range of the present invention. 14 and 24 are shown arranged with a radius of curvature R. FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the entire transport device with a frame 9 attached. The results of practical running tests conducted on each of the above-mentioned conveying devices are also listed in Table 1. As is clear from the running results in Table 1, the running life of the embodiments of the present invention is several times longer than that of the comparative examples.
Very good results were obtained. As described above, the present invention provides n (but 2 or more) tapered bend rollers with radius r in the free zone of the belt surface at the concave angle transition from the horizontal section to the inclined section of a resin conveyor belt for steep inclinations. When placed on the radius of curvature R, when the belt is wrapped around the bend roller F, and the center distance L between the bend rollers is 0.05≦F≦0.2, 1.01, respectively.
R, r, and n are set to satisfy ≦L/2r≦1.8. This minimizes the bending fatigue of the belt at the concave bending portion, and eliminates belt deflection, which has been a concern in the past. Buckling and meandering can be prevented, and the features of the resin conveyor belt are fully utilized to make it lighter and more compact.
