にしている。 In such an underlay supply device, when the paper roll runs out, it is necessary to replace it with a new paper roll, so in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-4728, a pair of paper rolls a and a' are arranged side by side as shown in Figure 6. The roll paper a is supplied sequentially from one roll a, and the other roll paper a' is kept on standby. The detectors b and b' detect that the roll diameter of the roll paper a has become thinner, and a signal is sent when the roll diameter of the roll paper a becomes thinner. At this point, the worker applies double-sided adhesive tape c to the tip of the other paper roll a', which was waiting, and presses guide roller e against roller f using lever d. The other paper roll with double-sided adhesive tape c
By stacking the tip of paper a' on the end of one paper roll a and inserting it between the rollers, the tip of the other paper roll a' that was waiting at that end is glued, and from then on, the other paper paper a' is fed from the other paper roll a'. At the same time, a new paper roll is attached to the position of one paper roll a during this time.

A cutting mechanism is installed in the middle of each conveyance path to move the cutter using a motor, and double-sided tape is attached to the tip of the waiting paper roll so that it is positioned between the cylinder and the backing plate. A limit switch is attached to the plate by magnets, and a limit switch is provided adjacent to the pair of roll papers to detect when the roll paper runs out and drive the motor and cylinder. The tip of the paper roll being fed is automatically adhered to the paper roll being fed, and the paper is cut in the middle of the conveyance path so that the paper can be spliced automatically.

きる。Effects of the Invention When the paper being fed runs out, one of the limit switches 7 and 8 is turned on, driving the cylinder 39 and motor 18, and feeding the double-sided tape 41 attached to the tip of the waiting paper roll. By cutting the paper roll that is glued to the paper roll and being fed in the middle of the conveyance path, the paper roll that is waiting is then fed and the paper can be spliced automatically.

Moreover, when the web starts running after splicing, the magnets 37, 38 are separated from the plate 36 by the tension acting on the web. Since the paper roll is released from holding the web, there is no need for special driving means or control means for holding the paper web on the plate 36 or releasing the holding of the paper web, and the structure is extremely simple and highly reliable. Furthermore, the manufacturing cost is reduced. can be lowered.

The double-sided adhesive portion of the double-sided tape 41 adheres to both rolls of paper and is not exposed to the outside, and the double-sided tape does not peel off from one of the rolls and tear the paper, and the double-sided adhesive portion of the double-sided tape 41 adheres to both rolls of paper while the roll is running. There is no possibility of problems such as the tape adhering to other parts or the smooth running being hindered by the torn parts.
