Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 所定の軌道に沿つて設けられた記録トラツクに
一定の記録波長の磁気情報が記録された磁気記録
媒体と、この磁気記録媒体と所定のギヤツプを隔
てて対向配置され、前記記録トラツク上の磁気情
報を検出する磁気センサとからなる磁気エンコー
ダにおいて、 前記磁気センサは、前記記録トラツクの移動方
向に沿つて順次所定の間隔を隔てて配列され、固
有抵抗が磁界の強さに応じて変化する磁気抵抗素
子によつて構成される複数本の検出部を有し、前
記各検出部の内、少なくとも１本が前記記録トラ
ツクの幅方向と平行に配置され、その他の検出部
が前記記録トラツクの幅方向に対して各々所定の
角度を有して配置されていることを特徴とする磁
気エンコーダ。
