"Field of Industrial Application" The present invention has excellent antiseptic properties and
This invention relates to a wood preservative that has termite and insect repellent properties and is highly safe for humans and livestock. ``Conventional technology'' In recent years, Japan's demand for wood has increased significantly, domestic forest resources have been depleted, and with the increase in imported materials with low durability such as South Sea lumber, damage from organisms such as termites and wood beetles has increased. ing. Additionally, changes in construction methods are creating an environment where wood is more likely to rot and termite damage occurs. Traditionally, various wood preservatives have been used to protect wood from biological deterioration. For example, termite/insect repellent ingredients include organic chlorine insecticides such as deirdrin, aldrin, DDT, lindane, heptachlor, and chlordane, CCA agents (copper, chromium, arsenic agents), CFK agents (copper, futsuso, chromium agents), etc.
Inorganic fixation type compounds such as these have been mainly used. These compounds cause odor, rash, irritation,
It had drawbacks in terms of toxicity to humans and livestock, environmental pollution, etc. For example, although deirdrin has excellent ant and insect repellent properties, it is highly toxic to humans and livestock, and due to its accumulation and persistent properties, it has been designated as a specified chemical substance in Japan and its use has been prohibited. Chlordane is highly toxic to humans and livestock, and is highly accumulative and difficult to decompose.
Environmental pollution is becoming more serious. In addition, CCA agents and
CFK agents contain toxic heavy metals, which pose problems in terms of toxicity to humans and livestock and environmental pollution. In addition, preservative ingredients include creosote oil, PF agents (phenol,
Fluorine), CCA agents, chlornaphthalene, organotin compounds, naphthenic acid metal salts, phenolic compounds, etc. have been used, but all of them have problems in terms of odor, rash, irritation, toxicity to the human body, and environmental pollution. It had drawbacks. Under these circumstances, the development of a wood preservative that has excellent wood preservation performance over a long period of time, is highly safe for humans and livestock, and is free from environmental pollution has become a serious and urgent challenge for those skilled in the art. The current situation is that ``Problems to be solved by the invention'' Many organophosphorus insecticides and carbamate insecticides exhibit excellent insecticidal efficacy, and wood preservatives that are highly safe for humans and livestock and have little environmental pollution are developed as insect repellents. , some of which are expected to be anti-termite ingredients, but these compounds generally tend to be easily decomposed by light, heat, water, soil microorganisms, etc., and do not have the long-term efficacy required for wood preservatives. It has been thought that they are inferior to organic chlorine compounds in this respect. In fact, the organophosphorus compound O,O-diethyl-O-(α-cyanobenzylideneamino)phosphorothioate and the carbamate compound 2-isopropoxyphenyl-N-methylcarbamate have fast-acting and strong insecticidal effects. , Despite exhibiting anticidal efficacy, when applied to wood, it has poor weather resistance and cannot be said to be sufficiently durable in terms of effectiveness. This is thought to be due to the volatilization, decomposition, and leaching of the active ingredients caused by light, heat, water, soil microorganisms, etc. "Means for Solving the Problems" The present inventors believe that although the method is highly safe for humans and animals and has little risk of environmental pollution, it has not been used much in the past, and there are concerns about the sustainability of its efficacy over a long period of time. As a result of extensive research into active ingredients that were previously thought to be unusable, we discovered that by combining specific active ingredients, we have created a wood preservative that is far superior to conventional wood preservatives. They have found that it can be obtained and have completed the present invention. That is, the present invention provides O,O-diethyl-O-(α
-cyanobenzylidene amino)phosphorothioate, 2-isopropoxyphenyl-N-methylcarbamate, N-cyclohexyl-N-methoxy-2,5-dimethylfuran-3-carboxamide and the aluminum salt of N-nitroso-N-cyclohexylhydroxylamine in organic It is a wood preservative dissolved in a solvent, has no odor, no irritation, does not cause rashes, is highly safe for humans and livestock, and is free from environmental pollution, and when applied to wood, Excellent wood preservation effect lasts for a long time. O,O-diethyl-O- blended in the present invention
The amount of (α-cyanobenzylidene amino) phosphorothioate used is 100 parts (by weight) of this wood preservative.
0.05-10.0 parts, preferably 0.15-5.0 parts, more preferably 0.5-3.5 parts, and the amount of 2-isopropoxyphenyl-N-methylcarbamate used is 0.05 parts.
~10.0 parts, preferably 0.1 to 5.0 parts, more preferably 0.5 to 2.0 parts, N-cyclohexyl-2.5-dimethylfuran-3-carboxamide, used in an amount of
The amount of aluminum salt of N-nitroso-N-cyclohexylhydroxylamine used is 0.01 to 5.0 parts, preferably 0.05 to 3.0 parts, more preferably 0.3 to 2.0 parts, and the amount used is 0.05 to 10.0 parts, preferably 0.1 to 5.0 parts, and more Preferably it is 0.3 to 3.5 parts. In order to infiltrate these active ingredients into the interior of the wood, it is preferable to use a permeability enhancer to prevent volatilization and leaching of the active ingredients and to fully demonstrate their effectiveness. As permeability improvers, 3 to 50 parts by weight, preferably 5 to 15 parts by weight, of an aromatic solvent with a boiling point of 200°C or higher and polyethylene glycol monoether (e.g. monohexyl of ethylene glycol or monophenyl ether diethylene glycol) with a boiling point of 200°C or higher monoisopropyl, monobutyl, isobutyl or hexyl ether, monomethyl, monoethyl, monobutyl ether of triethylene glycol, etc.) 3 to 30 parts by weight, preferably 5 to
A mixture consisting of 15 parts by weight can advantageously be used. Further, in order to fix the active ingredient inside the wood, it is preferable to use a fixing agent to prevent volatilization and leaching of the active ingredient and to fully exhibit its effectiveness.
As a fixing agent, for example, the viscosity at 25°C of a solution obtained by dissolving 50 parts of algide-modified drying oil in 50 parts of a mineral spirit with a boiling point of 150 to 200°C, a flash point of 40°C, and 15% aromatics is used. 200~15000cps
It is possible to use 1 to 30 parts by weight, preferably 3 to 10 parts by weight, of an alkyd-modified drying oil having an oil length of 30 to 70%. Sunflower oil, soybean oil, tall oil, linseed oil, etc. are used as drying oils. This alkyd-modified drying oil is obtained by reacting a drying oil with an alkyd resin raw material consisting of a polybasic acid such as phthalic anhydride and a polyhydric alcohol such as glycerin. In order to sufficiently penetrate the wood with this agent, it is desirable to use an appropriate solvent. Examples of the solvent include organic solvents such as aliphatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alicyclic hydrocarbons, alcohol solvents, ketone solvents, and ester solvents, alone or in combination. Furthermore, it is useful to further add various other active ingredients and additives to the wood preservative of the present invention. O,O-diethyl-O-(3,5, 6-trichloro-2-pyridyl)phosphorothioate, O,O-dimethyl-
O-(2-methyl-4-nitrophenyl)phosphorothioate, O-ethyl-O-2-isopropoxycarbonylphenyl-N-isopropyl-thiophosphoramidate, O-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-O-ethyl -S-propyl-phosphorodithioate, (z)-2-chloro-1-(2,4,
Organophosphorus compounds such as 5-trichlorophenyl) vinyl phosphorodithioate, carbamate compounds such as O-sec butylphenyl-N-methyl carbamate, O-naphthyl-N-methyl carbamate, 1,1,1,2 ,6,7,7,7-
Examples include organic chlorine compounds such as octachlor-4-oxaheptane. N-nitroso-N-
Preservative ingredients that can be blended with aluminum salt of cyclohexyl-hydroxylamine and N-cyclohexyl-N-methoxy-2,5-dimethyl-furan-3-carboxamide include N,N-
Dimethyl-N′-(dichlorofluoromethylthio)
-N'-phenylsulfamide, 4-chloro-phenyl-3'-iodopropargyl formal, diiodomethyl-4-methylphenylsulfone, and the like. In addition, it is possible to blend a wood fungicide, stabilizers such as antioxidants and ultraviolet absorbers, colorants, rust preventives, and the like. To apply the wood preservative of the present invention to wood, etc., methods conventionally applied to oil-based or oil-soluble agents, such as coating, spraying, dipping, injecting, scattering, and mixing, can be used as they are. "Effects of the Invention" The wood preservative of the present invention has no drawbacks such as odor, irritation, or rash, is highly safe for humans and livestock, and can be used for a long period of time without worrying about environmental pollution. Demonstrates excellent wood preservation effects.
