Claims (1)
- トナーとキヤリヤを含む現像剤を収容する現像
槽と、前記現像槽の上部に連設した補給用トナー
を収容するトナー収容槽と、前記現像槽内に回転
可能に設けた現像剤撹拌部材と、前記現像剤撹拌
部材に検知面を対向させて配設した前記現像剤中
のトナー濃度を検出するトナー濃度検知部材と、
前記トナー濃度の検出値に基づき前記補給用トナ
ーを前記現像槽内に落下補給するトナー補給部材
とを備えた現像装置において、前記トナー濃度検
知部材と前記トナー補給部材との配置を補給トナ
ーが前記検知面の近傍へ落下可能に設定し、前記
現像剤撹拌部材の回転方向を前記検知面近傍領域
に存在する現像剤を押し上げる方向に設定したこ
とを特徴とする現像装置。
