【考案の詳細な説明】
〔考案の利用分野〕
本考案はモータの保護装置、さらに詳しくは塩
分の混入を防止するためのモータの保護装置に関

高い地域にあつては、モータに塩分が混入しやす
いため、モータの駆動効率の低下やモータ巻線の
焼損といつた不都合な事態が起こりやすく、その
対策が求められていた。

き、しかも既設のモータにも簡単に取り付けるこ
とができるモータの保護装置を提供するにある。

この目的を達成するために、本考案者らは、ま
ず、一般に知られている空気中の塩分除去方法、
つまり空気を細穴流通させて機械的に塩分を吸着
させるという方法について検討してみたが、この
方法ではモータの冷却効率を低下させる惧れがあ
るため好適とはいえなかつた。そこで、さらに検
討を重ねた結果、塩分はNa+とCl-とにイオン化
しているという点に着目し、+と−にチヤージさ
れた物質によりフイルタを作成すれば該フイルタ
で化学的に塩分が吸着でき、モータの冷却効率を
低下させる必配もないということを見い出した。

したことのあるもの5台を対象にして、そのモー
タ内の塩分を除去したうえで新たにフイルタ4を
取り付け、1年間稼働させてみた。そして、こう
してフイルタ4を取り付けた状態で1年間稼働さ
せた後、各モータを分解して内部を調べてみたと
ころ、いずれのモータについても塩分が混入した

きるという利点があり、前記従来技術の欠点を除
いた優れた機能のモータの保護装置を提供するこ
とができる。
