工程の品質を安定化させることが重要である。 Among them, chlorine is often used in the first step of the bleaching process, and in order to maintain a constant quality of bleached pulp, the amount of chlorine added in the chlorine bleaching process must be determined in relation to the pulp quality. It is important to control and stabilize the quality of the chlorine bleaching process.

が光学センサー方式の原理である。 Optical sensor systems are generally used to control the chlorine bleaching process. By the way, the reaction between chlorine and lignin is extremely rapid, and even under room temperature reaction conditions, several tens of percent of chlorine completes the reaction within a few minutes after chlorine injection. Therefore, the change in whiteness or color tone of unbleached pulp is rapid, and this color change is detected by an optical sensor as a change in whiteness of the pulp within 3 minutes from the time of chlorine injection, and is detected at the position of the optical sensor. The principle of the optical sensor method is to control the amount of chlorine injected so that the whiteness of the material remains constant.

In the chlorine bleaching process, which takes about 60 minutes,
In this way, detecting the bleaching status of the pulp during a short residence time using a sensor and controlling the amount of chlorine injection so that the detected value, that is, the whiteness, is constant is especially important when the pulp to be bleached is difficult to bleach. If so, there is a tendency for excessive chlorine injection. That is, the difficulty of bleaching pulp varies depending on the type of raw wood from which it is made. For example, Figure 3 shows four types of pulp A, B, C, and D with different bleaching properties.
The bleaching characteristics of each are shown in terms of the relationship between the chlorine addition rate and the optical sensor detection signal. The conventional control method described above, that is, adding chlorine so that the target setting value (whiteness) of the sensor becomes a certain constant value, is that the chlorine addition rate of pulps A, B, and C is as shown in Fig. A′, B′, C′. At this time, there is almost no problem with pulps A and B, but with pulp C, there is excess chlorine. As for pulp D, the signal from the optical sensor never reaches the target set level, so the amount of chlorine injected continues to increase, eventually causing a so-called runaway phenomenon.
In such a case, a skilled operator will take steps to avoid runaway by lowering the target set point and controlling it.

It is difficult to quickly respond to the ever-changing bleaching characteristics of pulp to obtain appropriate settings. Especially in the recent times when the wood supply situation is severe and many types of wood are mixed and used as raw materials for pulp, the setting value for chlorine injection control must be changed one after another, and with conventional control methods, the setting value is changed many times. The number of controls has increased further, and the reality is that it is closer to manual control than automatic control.

ともよい結果を生む。(Means and effects for solving the problem) As a result of studying to improve the shortcomings of the conventional control method as described above, the present inventors have determined that the whiteness of pulp in the line immediately after chlorine injection is controlled in the pulp bleaching process. Or, in a method of optically detecting the color tone and controlling the amount of chlorine injection, at least two variables, the detection signal of the optical sensor and the chlorine addition rate or amount per pulp, or at least the detection signal of the optical sensor, the pulp flow rate and the chlorine It has been found that control by the optical sensor can be greatly improved by controlling the amount of chlorine injected so that the calculated value as a function of the three variables of the amount of chlorine is constant. In the above configuration, the function is such that the correlation between the calculated value of the function and the pulp whiteness after the completion of the chlorine reaction is higher than the correlation between the detection signal of the optical sensor and the pulp whiteness after the completion of the chlorine reaction. , and when the X axis of the X, Y coordinates is the chlorine addition rate or amount per pulp, and the Y axis is the detection signal of the optical sensor, variables other than X and Y When the calculated value of the function is constant, the function of X and Y is a function that forms a straight line or a curved line downward to the right on the coordinates. (The X-axis is positive towards the right,
The upward direction of the Y-axis is positive. ) Adding pulp temperature, pulp concentration, chlorine gas pressure, etc. as variables constituting the function can also produce good results.

の安定性が可成り改善できる。 The specific content of the function equation cannot be standardized because it varies depending on the equipment condition, type of pulp, location of the optical sensor, characteristics of the optical sensor, etc., but the key is to calculate the value calculated by the function and the end of the chlorine stage. All you have to do is set the equation of the function so that there is a correlation between the brightness of the color and the whiteness of the color. To give an example of the equation of a function, we have: Function - Signal to be adjusted constantly = K 1 × Os + K 2 × Fc / Fp + K 3 Function - Signal to be adjusted to be constant = A - K 3 / K 6 × A + K 7 × {Os - (K 4 ×K 5 ) ×Fc/Fp}+K 3However , A=K 1 ×Os+K 2 ×Fc/Fp+K 3Function − Signal to be adjusted to a constant level =K 1 ×Os×Fp K2 +K 3 ×Fc/Fp+K 4 Function - Signal to be adjusted constant = K 1 × (Os + K 2 · Tp + K 3 ) × Fp K4 + K 5 × Fc / Fp + K 6 Function - Signal to be adjusted to be constant = K 1 × Os + K 2 × Fc + K 3 (However) K 1 ~ Kn; Constant Os; Optical sensor signal Fp; Pulp flow rate Fc; Chlorine flow rate Tp; Pulp slurry temperature If the chlorine flow rate is controlled to keep the value calculated by the above functional equation constant, the stability of bleaching quality will be considerably improved. can.

It goes without saying that better control can be achieved by using, as the detection signal of the optical sensor, a signal that has been corrected for disturbance factors such as pulp concentration, temperature, and flow rate. When using an optical sensor without this correction processing device, better control is possible, for example, by using a function or. In a process in which the pulp flow rate is hardly changed or the range of change is small, the effects of the present invention can be sufficiently exhibited even if the pulp flow rate variable (F p ) is omitted as in function -V.

The reaction rate of chlorine with lignin is extremely high compared to chlorine dioxide, and the reaction with chlorine is dominant in the initial stage of the reaction, so the present invention is also effective in such a chemical combination system.
