() In Figure 1A, 1 is the lower type, 2 is the middle type,
3 is an upper mold, which constitutes a mold for the cushion body. The lower mold 1 has an inner wall surface corresponding to the shape of the top of the cushion body. First, the surface material 4 is placed in close contact with the inner wall surface of the lower mold 1, and the surface material 4 is extended from the open end of the lower mold 1 to the outside of the mold. As the surface material 4, cloth, leather, a foam sheet, or a combination thereof is used. Next, after arranging the middle mold 2 as shown and fixing the surface material 4, a polyurethane foam stock solution 5 is spread inside the mold, and the upper mold 3 is closed.

() Next, the polyurethane foam stock solution 5 is foamed and molded together with the surface material 4, and when this is removed from the mold, the surface material 4 is integrally formed on the top surface as shown in FIG. 1B. A cushion body is obtained which is coated with a cloth. In the figure, 5' indicates a polyurethane foam layer. Next, the extending portion of the facing material 4 is wrapped around the side and bottom surfaces of the polyurethane foam layer 5' and adhered thereto, thereby producing the desired cushion body.

However, in the conventional manufacturing method described above,
When the polyurethane foam stock solution 5 was foamed in this state, there was a problem in that wrinkles were likely to occur in a portion (particularly the edges) of the surface material 4 due to the foaming pressure. If the surface material 4 and the polyurethane foam layer 5' are integrated with such wrinkles formed,
It is impossible to eliminate wrinkles after demolding, resulting in a reduction in manufacturing yield.

That is, in the present invention, a surface material is disposed in close contact with the inner wall surface of the mold corresponding to the top surface of the cushion body, the surface material is extended to the outside of the mold, and the foam is placed inside the mold. Production of a cushion body by filling and foaming raw materials and molding them integrally with the surface material, and then rolling and adhering the surface material, which had been extending outside the mold, onto the side and back surfaces of the foam molded product. The method of manufacturing a cushion body is characterized in that the surface material is placed in close contact with the inner wall surface of the mold while applying sufficient tension to the surface material.

In this embodiment, a mold consisting of a lower mold 11, a middle mold 12, and an upper mold 13 is used. Lower mold 11
has an inner wall surface corresponding to the top surface of the cushion body,
The wall surface is formed in a slightly convex shape as shown in the figure. Moreover, the mating surface between the lower mold 11 and the middle mold 12 is
It is formed to match the extension surface of the convex inner wall surface of the lower surface 11.

When carrying out the present invention using the above mold, first, the surface material 14 is placed on the inner wall surface of the lower mold 11, and the outwardly extending portion of the surface material 14 is pulled in the direction of the arrow in the figure. This is brought into close contact with the inner wall surface of the lower mold 11 while applying sufficient tension. Then, by setting the middle mold 12 in that state, the surface material 14 that is in close contact with the inner wall surface of the lower mold 11 is fixed with sufficient tension applied thereto.
Subsequently, after the polyurethane foaming stock solution 15 is injected and filled into the mold, the upper mold 13 is closed. After that, as in the conventional manufacturing method, the polyurethane foam stock solution 15 is foamed and molded integrally with the surface material 14, and then the extended portion of the surface material 14 is rolled up and bonded, so that the surface material 14 is integrally formed. A coated cushion body is obtained.

上記実施例の製造方法によれば、表面材14が

According to the manufacturing method of the above embodiment, since the surface material 14 is stretched with sufficient tension and tightly adhered to the inner wall surface of the lower mold 11, wrinkles do not occur even when foaming pressure is applied. Therefore, the desired cushion body can be obtained without producing defective products.
