The conventional painting booth 30 has an air supply chamber 31 arranged along the ceiling as shown in FIG. Air is flowed from the ceiling to the floor 33 as shown by the arrow from the air supply filter 35 installed at the bottom of the chamber 31, and the air is flowed along with the outside air to prevent the workers from coming into contact with the paint made of organic solvents that scatters during the painting process as much as possible. It is introduced into an exhaust duct 34 that is excavated under the floor so as to be guided outdoors from the floor surface 33. The paint is removed by a filter provided in the exhaust duct 34. However, such conventional painting booths3
0, the flow path of the air flowing inside the air supply chamber 31 is long, so the air resistance is large, and there is a considerable difference in the amount of circulating air depending on the position of the air supply filter 35. The disadvantages were that the capacity increased and the cost of the motor and power consumption became high.

Automobile painting is done at the front and rear entrances and exits of the paint booth.
This is done by closing the push fan 6 and rotating the pull fan 14. At that time, outside air is sucked in as shown by the arrow through the main suction filter 9 and the auxiliary suction filter 11, and is guided to the air guide plate 22 through the air supply duct 20 formed for each gate-shaped unit 1, and from the air supply filter 21 into the internal space. 19, causing airflow to flow in four directions on the floor surface. Dust contained in the outside air is removed by the main suction filter 9 and the auxiliary suction filter 11, so dust and small insects do not adhere to the painted surface, and the airflow always flows from top to bottom. Therefore, it is less likely that the scattered paint will stick to the worker or be inhaled into the mouth, thereby preventing the harmful effects on health caused by organic solvents. Further, the paint in the air discharged through the exhaust duct 12 is passed through the exhaust filter 13.
It is removed by water and is hardly emitted into the atmosphere.

Furthermore, the small auxiliary suction port 10 provided at the back of the push fan 6 can significantly reduce the noise generated at the main suction port 8 during suction. This has been confirmed experimentally.

As described above, the push-pull type painting booth according to the present invention has a shape in which a plurality of gate-shaped units 1 are arranged in series, and a horizontal push-pull is installed at one end of the ceiling 5 of each gate-shaped unit 1. In addition to providing a fan 6, a pull fan 14 is provided in the exhaust duct 12a leading from the floor surface 4 to the outdoors for each gate-type unit 1, and a pull fan 14 is provided in the exhaust duct 12a leading from the floor surface 4 to the outdoors. A suction duct 7 is formed on the suction side of the push fan 6 and is lowered from the ceiling 5 to a position relatively close to the floor 4 along the side wall 3 of the gate-shaped unit 1, forming an air flow path flowing in four directions on the floor. A main suction port 8 having a large area main suction filter 9 is provided at the lower end of the suction duct 7, and an auxiliary suction filter 11 having a narrow area is provided at a high position near the push fan 6 of the suction duct 7. An auxiliary suction port 10 is provided.

According to this invention, each of the plurality of gate-shaped units 1 is provided with a push fan 6, which reduces the amount of air flowing out from the supply air filter compared to when a single push fan is provided in a conventional painting booth. Achieves uniform wind speed with less unevenness,
There is no need to feed extra air, and since the air supply flow path is short, the pressure drop in each push fan 6 is extremely small, so the capacity of the motor for all push fans 6 is about half that of conventional models, which reduces power consumption. Moreover, even if the number of electric motors purchased is large, the total cost is less than that of the conventional method, which is excellent in economical efficiency.

In addition, since the painting booth consists of a series of gate-type units 1, the number of gate-type units 1, ..., 1 used can be increased or decreased depending on the length of the car to be painted, and the gate-type units that do not face the car are unit push button
The fan 6 and pull fan 14 can be shut down to reduce power consumption.
