Claims

A diaphragm type actuator in which a diaphragm defines two pressure chambers inside a casing, and the tip of a rod that penetrates one of the pressure chambers and is removable is fixed to the diaphragm, in which a flange is formed on the rod. A guide portion is formed in the casing to guide the movement of the rod by slidingly contacting the flange portion, and a back-up spring for elastically supporting the rod is disposed within the guide portion. A diaphragm-type actuator characterized by comprising a bearing with a back-up spring.
