This makes it possible to restrain the cable conductor connection area while avoiding an increase in the external size of the connection area.

This movement phenomenon varies depending on the installation route and external environment, but is generally thought to be caused by thermal expansion and contraction of the cable or so-called wave riding caused by vehicles running on the ground.

In other words, the inner diameter of the POF cable pipe is thinner than the inner diameter of the connection box that houses the conductor connection, and the length of the connection box is limited to a certain extent because it is installed in a manhole. If the conductor connection section moves beyond the amount of movement allowed by the length of the box body, the reinforcing insulator of the conductor connection section will be mechanically damaged, causing problems such as insulation failure.

Each cable core 3 led out from the end of the pipe 2 in the POF cable 1 on both sides as shown in the figure.
The cable conductor 4 is compressed and connected to both ends of the connection conductor 5 to form a conductor connection part 6. An epoxy unit 7 is attached to the outer periphery of the connection body 5, and the conductor connection part including both ends of the epoxy unit 7 is attached. The structure was such that a reinforcing insulator 8 was provided around the outer periphery of the insulator 6 by wrapping an insulating tape. Then, the epoxy unit 7 has its outer periphery flange portion 7A clamped by the clamping members 9A and 9B, and the clamping state is maintained with bolts 10, and the clamping member 9A is fixed to the stop member 12 of the connection box body 11 with the bolt 13. As a result, the conductor connecting portion 6 is restrained by the connecting portion box 11 so as not to move in the longitudinal direction.

Note that portions corresponding to those in FIG. 2 described above are designated by the same reference numerals. In this embodiment, each inner end 14A is in contact with the peripheral surface on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the epoxy unit 7, and the outer end 14B is tapered so as to form a part of the stress relief cone shape of the reinforcing insulator 8. A presser insulator 14 is used, which is made of aluminum and presses the epoxy unit 7 from both sides. The inner end 14A of each presser insulator 14 is also tapered to fit the surface of the epoxy unit 7. Outer end 14 of each presser foot insulator 14
Although not shown, a ground electrode is formed on the stress relief cone-shaped portion in B using a conductive paint or the like, and is connected to a ground electrode (not shown) of the stress relief cone-shaped portion of the reinforcing insulator 8. An inner end 15A of a restraint body 15 is engaged with the outer end 14B of each presser insulator 14, and this restraint body 15 is engaged with the reducer 17 of the connection box 11 via the initial setting position adjustment bolt 16. It has been stopped. In addition, 18 is the restraint body 15 and the adjustment bolt 16.
It is a sitting body interposed between. Also, 19,2
Reference numeral 0 denotes a presser insulating layer that holds down the engaging portion between the epoxy unit 7 and the presser insulator 14 and the engaging portion between the presser insulator 14 and the restraining body 15 so that they do not shift.

できる。[Effects of the invention] As explained above, in the POF cable connection part according to the invention, the movement of the epoxy unit in the longitudinal direction is restrained by the holding insulator and the restraint body arranged along the longitudinal direction, thereby preventing the conductor connection. Since the movement of the connecting part in the longitudinal direction is restrained, restraint can be achieved while avoiding an increase in the outer diameter of the connecting part. Further, since the outer end of the presser insulator forms a part of the stress relief cone shape of the reinforcing insulator, it is possible to avoid the presser insulator from becoming a problem in mitigating the electric field.
