A gear transmission mechanism for a tape recorder, characterized in that the regulating part and the boss part are brought into contact with each other to regulate the distance between the axes of the transmission gear and the gear. 2. A gear transmission mechanism for a tape recorder according to claim 1, in which the boss portion is a shaft of a gear.
