剤は、布や紙のような物質に含浸させて用いるため終点
がわかりにくいという欠点がある。また高価な薬剤であ
るためごく少量しか使用することができず、このためタ
ンス等の衣料保存用具の中で十分に薬剤濃度が上昇せず
効力が弱いという欠点をも有する。従って、無臭で防虫
効果を発揮する固体の安価な防虫剤が当業界で望まれて

ノンオキシムは入手容易でかつ安全性が高く、一般家庭
で用いられる可能性の高い衣料用防虫剤として特に有用
