In contact cutting, the output current range that can cut while the nozzle is in direct contact with the base material is generally 30A due to parts wear and tear at the tip of the torch.
The cutting thickness is limited to the following, and the cutting thickness is also for thin plates. For larger capacities, non-contact cutting is required to create a gap between the base material and the nozzle. When performing non-contact cutting, the distance between the nozzle tip of the plasma torch and the workpiece to be cut must be kept constant. Maintaining a constant spacing like this requires a high level of skill.

However, in a plasma torch, contact cutting must be performed as necessary, so a screw-in spacer that takes time to attach and detach is extremely inconvenient in practice.

The present invention aims to provide a jig that is quick and easy to attach and detach, and is suitable for non-contact cutting with a plasma torch.

Further, when the coiled spring member is fitted onto the plasma torch main body, a leg member extending below the nozzle of the plasma torch is integrally provided, and the lower end edge of the leg member is formed in an arc shape. Features. The reason why heat resistance of 300℃ or higher is required is that the temperature of the torch body rises due to secondary heat radiation from the base material. As a material that satisfies this condition,
For example, there is tempered spring steel.

When the fingertip is relaxed with the plasma torch main body inserted, the inner diameter of the coiled spring portion contracts and is firmly fitted to the plasma torch main body. In this way, this jig can be attached to and detached from the plasma torch body.
