(Function) The core for forming the base material of such fired ceramic products is set in a casting mold such as a plaster mold or a vacuum casting mold so that the lower end surface of the water-absorbing core material is in contact with the bottom surface of the casting mold. Ceramic slurry is then cast into the cavity formed between the molds, and the moisture contained therein is absorbed through the surface of the mold to dehydrate and harden the slurry in the cavity to form a base material. When the base material has hardened to the extent that it can be removed from the mold, the water-absorbing core material, in which the cylindrical elastic material is removably surrounded on the outer circumferential surface, is removed so that the cylindrical elastic material remains in the casting mold. The elasticity of the cylindrical elastic material is increased by pulling it out, and then the elasticity is used to remove the cylindrical elastic member attached to the inner surface of the material in the casting mold, and the rest is removed from the mold in the usual manner. The mold can be removed by

(Example) Next, the present invention will be explained in detail by using as an example the base molding of a fired silicon nitride ceramic part in which two annular protrusions are formed on the inner surface of a short cylinder as shown in Fig. 3. , 1 is a short column-shaped water-absorbing core material made of a water-absorbing material with excellent shape retention, such as gypsum or calcium silicate, whose lower end diameter is slightly smaller than the upper end diameter, and its outer peripheral surface has an uneven surface. A cylindrical elastic section 3 formed on the surface 2 is removably enclosed. The cylindrical elastic section 3 has a larger diameter at its upper end than at its lower end so that its inner diameter corresponds to the water-absorbing core material 1, but its outer diameter is approximately the same on both the upper and lower ends. 2 is formed by arranging two upper and lower annular grooves 4 each having a substantially semicircular cross-sectional shape, and the material of the cylindrical elastic member 3 is silicone rubber, urethane rubber, or the like. The cylindrical elastic mold material 3 is removably enclosed with respect to the water-absorbent core material 1 so that both end surfaces of the water-absorbent core material 1 are exposed, and the cylindrical elastic shape material 3 is enclosed in a removable manner so that both end surfaces of the water-absorbent core material 1 are exposed. constitutes a child.

With this structure, as shown in FIG.
The bottom mold 1 is placed in a casting mold 13 consisting of a mold 1 and a frame 12 so that the lower end surface of the water absorbent core material 1 is in close contact with the bottom mold 11.
The unevenness of the cylindrical elastic shape material 3 that is fitted and supported by the core receiving part 14 of 1 with its lower end and surrounds the inner surface of the casting mold 13 and the water-absorbing core material 1 with excellent shape retention properties. For example, silicon nitride powder is the main material, and 27 grams of water is added to the cavity 15 formed between the mold surface 2 and sintering aid and 100 grams of raw material powder, and each of a binder and a peptizer is added. Cast silicon nitride slurry made by adding an appropriate amount. Then, under the shape retention of the water-absorbing core material 1 described above, the moisture contained in the slurry is absorbed into the casting mold 1.
When the water-absorbent core material 1 is absorbed by the water-absorbent core material 3 and hardened by dehydration, the water-absorbent core material 1 is preliminarily hydrated and its lower end surface is in close contact with the bottom mold 11. Since the mold 13 also absorbs a part of the water absorbed and becomes almost saturated with water, this water acts as a lubricant at the interface between the circumferential surface of the water-absorbing core material 1 and the cylindrical elastic mold material 3. Since only the water absorbent core material 1 is easily extracted, the cylindrical elastic shape material 3 becomes hollow and its elasticity is further enhanced. Therefore, the cylindrical elastic mold material 3 whose uneven surface 2 is biting into the inner surface of the base material is removed by utilizing its excellent elasticity, and the remaining material is removed from the casting mold 13 by a conventional method. This demolded silicon nitride green material is dried indoors and then heated to 100°C, and the resulting dry material is fired in a nitrogen atmosphere sintering furnace at 1830°C for 3 hours to create a cross-sectional shape on the inner peripheral surface. A silicon nitride sintered body having a substantially semicircular shape and two annular protrusions on the upper and lower sides is obtained. In the above description, the water-absorbent core material 1 is first pulled out after the slurry cast into the cavity 15 hardens, but the bottom mold 11 of the casting mold 13 is
Alternatively, the water absorbent core material 1 may be removed from below and protruded from below.

(Effects of the invention) As is clear from the above description, the present invention uses a cylindrical elastic shape material made of a water-absorbing core material such as gypsum that has excellent water absorption and shape retention, and an elastic material such as silicone rubber or urethane rubber. It is cleverly utilized to make it possible to easily cast and mold the base of fired ceramic products with complex shapes. It has higher precision than an elastic cylinder filled with air, and since the absorbed water acts as a lubricant, it can be easily released from the cylindrical elastic mold material without using a special mold release agent. It has many advantages, such as being easy to work with and being inexpensive, and there is no risk of pollution as would be the case when the core material is leached out with a solvent. It has great practical value as it solves a problem.
