【考案の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】
この考案は、内燃機関の吸排気弁におけるバルブステムをシールするためのバ ルブステムシールに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来のこの種のバルブステムシールは、シリコーンゴム又はアクリルゴムから なるシールリップに、フッ素樹脂膜を接着したものが一般に使用されているが、 シールリップの素材であるシリコーンゴム又はアクリルゴムでは耐熱性、耐油性 が悪く、耐久性に乏しいという問題があった。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
この考案は、従来のシールリップにおける耐熱性、耐油性が悪く、耐久性に乏 しいという問題を解決することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この考案は、フッ素ゴムからなるシールリップの内周の摺動面に、耐摩耗性強 化充填材入りフッ素樹脂膜を接着してなるバルブステムシールを提案するもので ある。

【作用】
シールリップのゴム素材としてフッ素ゴムを使用しているため、耐熱性、耐油 性に優れ、耐久寿命が増大すると共に、シールリップの内周の摺動面に、耐摩耗 性強化充填材入りフッ素樹脂膜を接着されているため、摺動抵抗が少なく、従来 の単なるフッ素樹脂膜に比較して耐摩耗性が著しく向上する。

【実施例】
補強環１ａとその内周に焼き付けたフッ素ゴム層１ｂとからなる固定スリーブ １の上端部内周に、フッ素ゴム層１ｂと一体のフッ素ゴムからなるシールリップ ２が形成されている。
【０００７】 シールリップ２の内周の摺動面には、ガラス繊維、グラファイト繊維等の耐摩 耗性強化充填材を混入したフッ素樹脂膜３が接着されている。
【０００８】 耐摩耗性強化充填材は、ガラス繊維の場合には 5〜30重量％、またグラファイ ト繊維の場合には 5〜20重量％配合することが望ましく、これより多く配合する とピンホールを生ずるため好ましくない。
【０００９】 また、強化繊維入りフッ素樹脂膜３の皮膜の厚さは 0.15〜0.4mmが望ましく、 これよりも厚いとシールリップの追従性が悪くなり、またこれよりも薄いと耐久 性が悪くなり、好ましくない。

【考案の効果】
以上の通りこの考案によれば、シールリップのゴム素材としてフッ素ゴムを使 用しているので、耐熱性、耐油性に優れ、耐久寿命を増大することができると共 に、シールリップの内周の摺動面に、耐摩耗性強化充填材入りフッ素樹脂膜を接 着されているので、摺動抵抗が少なく、従来の単なるフッ素樹脂膜に比較して耐 摩耗性を著しく向上することができる。
