Abstract
(57)【要約】
【目的】 眼鏡の先セル部に装飾的効果を付加する。
【構成】 表裏面に分けた先セル材料に、先端に模様、
透かしを施した芯材を挟んで貼り合わせる方法で、先セ
ルを取り付ける。先端に模様、透かしを入れた芯材と透
明材料からなる先セルを組み合わせ、装飾的効果を付加
する。先セルの、表裏面の少なくともいずれか一方に
は、透明な材料を用いる。先セルに着色透明材料を用い
るか、先セルの一面にのみ不透明な材料を用いることに
よって、金属と先セル材料のコントラストが向上し、さ
らに装飾的効果が増す。
透かしを施した芯材を挟んで貼り合わせる方法で、先セ
ルを取り付ける。先端に模様、透かしを入れた芯材と透
明材料からなる先セルを組み合わせ、装飾的効果を付加
する。先セルの、表裏面の少なくともいずれか一方に
は、透明な材料を用いる。先セルに着色透明材料を用い
るか、先セルの一面にのみ不透明な材料を用いることに
よって、金属と先セル材料のコントラストが向上し、さ
らに装飾的効果が増す。
Description
【０００１】
本考案は先セル内部に装飾部を備えた眼鏡に関する。
【０００２】
従来、金属製眼鏡枠のテンプル先端の耳に接触する部分に樹脂製の先セルが取
り付けられている。先セルは、黒、茶などの不透明な材料が通常多く用いられて
いる。先セルをテンプル先端に取り付ける一般的な方法は、まずセルロイドなど
の樹脂で先セルの形状を作製し、この先セルに金属製のテンプル芯材の先端を加
熱して先セルに圧入して作られている。そのため圧入後は図に示すように、芯材
は先端には届かず、先セルの中程にとどまっているのが普通である。

上記従来の眼鏡の先セルは、皮膚へのソフトな接触を目的としており、装飾的
な効果をあまり考慮していない。これは先セル部分が眼鏡装着時には耳や髪の毛
に隠されることから眼鏡の製作者が注意を払うことがなく、黒や茶色の先セルを
単純に肌触りの点だけから採用していたからである。

しかし、眼鏡の装飾的効果を考える上で、装着時のみの状態を考えるだけでは
不十分であり、眼鏡をはずして置いたときの装飾的効果も重要であることは、か
けはずしの回数の多い老眼鏡などの場合を考えれば当然のことである。通常、眼
鏡は前枠やテンプルについては装飾効果を考慮しているが、先セル部分までは考
慮していない。本願考案は、先セル部分に付いても装飾的効果を配慮した眼鏡を
目的とするものである。

本考案の眼鏡は上記課題を解決するために、テンプルの先端の芯材を先セル先
端に届くものとし、その先端部に模様、透かしなどの装飾部を形成し、上記の圧
入法ではなく、表裏面に分けた透明な先セル材料に芯材を挟んで貼り合わせる方
法で先セルを取り付けることで装飾先セル付き眼鏡を得た。

本考案のテンプルにおいて、芯材に先セルを取り付けるには、図２に示すよう
に、表裏２面に分けた先セル材料４，５に芯材１を挟み込み、貼り合わせる方法
を用いる。テンプルに使用する芯材１は金属製で、先端には模様、透かしを施し
た装飾部３を備えている。装飾部３の模様、透かしを生かすために、先セルの材
料に透明ないしは半透明なものを用いる。この先セルの材料のどちらか一方を不
透明なものを選択することもできるが、すくなくともいずれか一方には透明ない
しは半透明な材料を用いることが必要である。先セルに着色透明材料を用いるか
、先セルの一面にのみ不透明な材料を用いることによって、金属と先セル材料の
コントラストが向上し、さらに装飾的効果が増すようにすることもできる。

本考案の眼鏡の先セル部は、その先端の透明な樹脂の中に精巧な模様を備えた
金属の模様部分が見え、眼鏡装着時も耳の陰からわずかに見えて装飾効果をあげ
るとともに、眼鏡をはずした際には先セルの装飾が最もよく見える状態になり、
装飾効果は最大になる。

また、本考案の眼鏡は、先セルの端部まで金属芯材が入り、しかも金属芯材の
先端の装飾部が先セルの形状に合わせて偏平になっており、一旦、先セルを固定
すれば芯材が抜け落ちることはない。特に、透かし模様の装飾の場合は、先セル
の樹脂が金属芯材と一層しっかりと固定する。さらに、先セルの先端まで金属芯
材が入っていることにより、従来のものに比べ、装着者の顔形状に合わせたテン
プルが型くずれすることが少ないなどの効果がある。

- 【請求項１】 金属製テンプル芯材が先セルの先端部に
達している眼鏡において、前記金属製テンプル芯材の先
端部に模様、透かしが施され、前記先セルの表裏のうち
少なくともいずれか一方が透明ないしは半透明な材料か
らなることを特徴とする装飾先セル付き眼鏡。
