Claims (1)
- 副燃焼室の位置がシリンダ中心線に対して偏心
し、かつ、主燃焼室と副燃焼室とを連通する３個
以上の副室噴口を有する副室式内燃機関の燃焼室
において、上死点時におけるピストン頂面とシリ
ンダ中心線が交る点をピストン中心Ｏｓ点とし、
ピストン中心Ｏｓ点と副燃焼室中心線を含む平面
をＣ−Ｃ平面、副燃焼室中心線を含みＣ−Ｃ平面
に直角な平面をＤ−Ｄ平面とした時に、Ｄ−Ｄ平
面に対して、ピストン中心Ｏｓ側に設けた副室噴
口の通路面積を、Ｄ−Ｄ平面上あるいはピストン
中心から離れた側に設けた副室噴口の通路面積よ
り大きくするとともに、副室直下噴口をＤ−Ｄ平
面に対してピストン中心から離れた側に設けたこ
とを特徴とする副室式内燃機関の燃焼室。
