Claims (1)
- 副燃焼室がシリンダ中心線から離れて位置し、
ピストン頂面に設けた突起部が圧縮上死点または
その近傍で副室噴口内に挿入される可変副室噴口
式内燃機関において、圧縮上死点またはその近傍
で、副室口金とピストン突起部の相対する面で構
成される副室噴口の軸線の副燃焼室側開口端にお
ける流出角度を、副燃焼室中心線に直角な平面に
対し、θ２で表わし、同副室噴口の軸線の主燃焼
室側開口端における上記副燃焼室中心線に直角な
平面に対する流出角度をθ１とするとき、θ１＜
θ２なる関係を幅室噴口の軸線を直線と円弧の組
合せにより構成したことを特徴とする幅室式内燃
機関の燃焼室。
