This bonnet switch detects the open/closed state of the vehicle bonnet, and is configured to sound an alarm or the like when the bonnet is opened while the vehicle is in a locked state. Conventionally, in this type of open/close detection switch, a switch part is disposed inside a switch case, and a thin lid body closes an open part of the switch case via an O-ring to make the switch part waterproof.

The base end of an operating lever 3 is fixed to the outer rotating shaft 2a of the rotating shaft 2, and one end of a magnet holder 5 in which a magnet 4 is embedded is fixed to the inner rotating shaft 2b. Here, a circumferential groove 2d is formed in the rotation shaft 2 at a portion existing in the insertion hole 1b, and a waterproof O-ring 9 is fitted into the circumferential groove 2d. This prevents water from entering the switch case 1 through the insertion hole 1b. A first cavity 1d in which the magnetic holder 5 can swing is formed in the switch case 1, and a second cavity 1e with a stepped surface 1c is formed above the first cavity 1d. is formed. Here, a circumferential groove 1f is formed in the stepped surface 1c. and,
After locking the seal ring 10 in the circumferential groove 1f,
The switch board 6 is connected to the periphery of the case wall 1c.
By fitting the switch board 6 into the second space 1e while being placed on the switch board 6, the first space 1d is sealed by the switch board 6. As a result, the second empty space 1e
Water is prevented from entering the first cavity 1d from the side. A recess 6a is provided on the back side of the switch board 6, and a reed switch 7 is disposed in the recess 6a, and the reed switch 7 is sealed with epoxy resin. Further, a lid 11 is attached to the upper surface of the switch case 1, and both ends of the lid 11 are provided to prevent pebbles and the like from directly hitting the operating lever 3 of the bonnet switch A while the vehicle is running. A protective piece 11a for protecting the coupler and a coupler support piece 11b for supporting the coupler are provided, respectively. A lead wire 12 connected to the reed switch 7 is drawn out from the side surface of the lid 11. As described above, since the reed switch 7 is sealed with epoxy resin, the terminals of the reed switch 7 will not be shunted even if the lead wire 12 is not provided with a special waterproof structure. When the reed switch 7 and the magnet 4 are opened, the pressure between the pressure plate of the bonnet and the operating lever 3 is released, so that they face each other, and when the reed switch 7 and the magnet 4 are closed, the pressure plate of the bonnet and the operating lever 3 are aligned. One end of the coiled spring 8 wound around the rotating shaft 2 is locked in the groove 2c provided on the rotating shaft 2, and the other end is held in place so that the reed switch 7 and the magnet 4 are separated by contact. A locking groove 6 provided in the bearing hole 6b of the switch board 6
c, and a clockwise rotational force of the rotation shaft 2 in FIG. 5 is applied to the coiled spring 8.

It becomes ON state. Further, when the bonnet is closed, the actuating lever 3 rotates against the coiled spring 8 due to contact with the pressing plate, and the reed switch 7 and the magnet 4 are separated, and the reed switch 7 is turned off.

There is an O between the rotation axis of the operating lever and the switch case.
The first cavity, which is sealed by the ring and in which the magnetic holder can swing, is sealed by the switch board, and the second cavity, into which the switch board is fitted, is closed by the lid, so that there is no space inside the switch case. Water, dust, etc. do not enter, and in particular, the waterproof effect prevents the return spring attached to the rotating shaft of the operating lever from rusting and causing return failure. It has a good effect. Furthermore, since the reed switch is encapsulated with resin, there is an excellent effect that the terminals of the reed switch will not be shot, even if no special waterproof structure is provided for the lead wire extraction portion.
