Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent black spots from developing in wooden mosaic decorative veneer by a method wherein moisture-curing adhesive added with water-adsorbed highly water absorbable fiber is used when aggregate block is formed by collecting and pressurizing humid woods, the moisture content of each of which is larger than its fiber saturation point, through the adhesive between them. CONSTITUTION:Squared timber-like woods 1, the moisture content of each of which is larger than its fiber saturation point and each of which is applied with adhesive prepared by agitating moisture-curing urethane resin adhesive added with water-absorbed highly water absorbable fiber, are collected in vertically and length-wise and, after that, pressurized so as to form aggregate block 3. At the slicing of the aggregate block 3, reinforcing thin sheets 2 are bonded through adhesive onto a pair of side faces, which are normal to the direction A of the reciprocating motion of a cutting edge, of the aggregate block 3. Further, as the highly water absorbable fiber acrylic resin fiber, which has the length of 2-10mm and the fineness of 3-40 denier and to the surface layer of which higher water absorbability is given by chemical treatment, is used.

In addition, after soaking wet wood with a moisture content above the fiber saturation point in hot water, the wood is taken out and the top and bottom surfaces and vertical surfaces other than the end of the wood are cut with a planer or saw, and then the wood is left in the air to dry. and an M1 step in which the water content of the cut surface is made lower than the fiber iIl saturation point.

The second step is to form a collective block by aligning and pressurizing the pieces of wood with a moisture-curing adhesive between them, and cutting the aggregate block thinly in the direction to obtain a cross section of the wood pieces. A third step of obtaining a decorative veneer with a parquet pattern;
It is known to have a fourth step of attaching this parquet pattern decorative veneer to a substrate via an adhesive.

(Disadvantages of Prior Art) The two conventional methods for manufacturing parquet patterned decorative boards have the following disadvantages. That is, there was a drawback that black spots appeared on the parquet pattern decorative veneer that was thinly cut from the aggregate block.

その欠点が発生する理由は以下の如く考えられている。The reason why this defect occurs is thought to be as follows.

In other words, the adhesive layer of the aggregate block usually contains water and is in a foamed state, making it brittle and easily damaged. Therefore, when cutting the aggregate block with a cutting blade, the adhesive layer is destroyed by the cutting blade, and the problem occurs at that time. It is believed that adhesive debris from the cutting blade, which contains water and contains iron, scatters onto the decorative veneer with a marquetry pattern, causing black spots.

(Objective of the Invention) The present invention attempts to overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks by strengthening the adhesive layer.

Example 1 First step (see Fig. 1) A wet square piece of wood 1 having a moisture content above the fiber saturation point (for example, a surface moisture content of 30 to 50%) is bonded with an adhesive as shown below. Apply 170g/m2 of
When the collective block 3 is formed by putting the collective block 3 together in the length direction and pressurizing it, and at the same time cutting the collective block 3 thinly in the second step, the collective block 3 is cut perpendicularly to the direction A of the reciprocating motion of the cutting blade. A reinforcing thin plate 2 is bonded to a pair of side surfaces of the frame with an adhesive.

[Adhesive] 1 part by weight of a super absorbent fiber that has absorbed 50 times its weight of water is added to 10 parts by weight of a moisture-curing urethane shelf fat adhesive and stirred well.However, as super absorbent a#I is 2 to 10 mm long,
3 to 40 denier acrylic resin fibers are chemically treated to give the surface layer high water absorption properties 1. For example,
The product name "Lanseal FJ" [manufactured by Toyobo Co., Ltd.] is used. If the length of the superabsorbent fibers is too long, the superabsorbent fibers will become entangled excessively and become difficult to disperse uniformly in the adhesive. If it is too short, the fiber will not be able to fully demonstrate its properties of increasing the strength of the adhesive layer.
Approximately 10 mm is suitable.

When forming the aggregate block, a moisture-curing adhesive containing water-absorbed superabsorbent fibers is used. Since the adhesive layer can be strengthened with water-absorbing fibers, it is possible to eliminate the drawback of black spots appearing on the parquet-patterned decorative veneer thinly cut from the aggregate blocks.
