Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the mounting strength, stabilize. and enhance the quality by pressure fitting a contact pin into a hole in a mold, performing a heating process, and thereby welding the inner side face of the hole to the knurled part of the pin. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral surface of a contact pin 3 in its middle part is subjected to a knurling process 12 and formation of grooves 11, and a flange 13 is formed below it. To fix this pin 3 to a mold 2, pressure fitting is made from below an insert hole 10 until the flange 13 runs against the undersurface of the mold 2, and then the pin 3 is heated. When the inner side face of the hole 10 melts and fills the grooves 11, heat is radiated, and thereby the inner side face of the hole 10 is welded strongly to the knurled part 12 of the pin 3. This gives an enhanced mounting strength of the contact pin 3 to lead to enhancement of the quality.

ある。又、6は該回路基板4に装着されたコネクタであ
って、該コネクタ6により回路基板4と他の構成部とを
接続する。

記ローレット加工部12は挿通孔10の内側面に当接さ

する。そして、放熱するに従って挿通孔10の内側面が
硬化する。該挿通孔10の内側面は溶解されて硬化する
ため、第7図に示すように、該挿通孔10の内側面はコ
ンタクトピンローレット加工部12の溝11に沿って硬
化して該ローレット加工部12に溶着する。
