b, 2c, and is connected and inserted into a blower drive circuit consisting of a power source 24, a rotation speed selection switch 25, and a motor 26, and changes the current supply to the motor 26 according to the position of the movable contact 27 of the rotation speed selection switch 25. This is to control the rotation speed of the motor 26. FIG. 2 shows a specific installation example of the resistor 1, in which a substrate 3 supporting resistance wires 2a, 2b, and 2c is attached to a case 7 housing a blower 28, for example. This case 7 is made of synthetic resin and is constructed by joining left and right case members 29a, 29b.The resistor 1 is installed near the inner wall 8 of the case 7 with resistance wires 2a, 2b, 2
c is arranged. Therefore,
When the motor 26 of the blower 28 locks, a locking current is supplied to the resistance wires 2a, 2b, 2c, causing overheating and potentially causing a fire. Therefore, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, a fuse 9 is provided in series with the motor 26.

2c, the coiled resistance wire main body 4 is connected to the legs 5 on both sides.
directly supported by the substrate 3 with elasticity of a and 5b,
When the resistance wire main body part 4 is overheated, it is configured to tilt to one or both sides due to its thermal expansion. The temperature fuse 9 is provided near the resistance wire main body 4, and because it senses the radiant heat of the resistance wire main body 4 and fuses it, the resistance wire 2a closest to the inner wall 8 of the case 7 is particularly If the case 7 is tilted toward the case 7 side as shown by the arrow, the case 7 will receive the radiant heat of the resistance wire 2a more strongly, so there is a risk that the case 7 will start to burn before the fuse 9 melts, and if only the fuse 9 is installed, a fire will not occur. This was insufficient to prevent fires, resulting in a high rate of fire occurrence.

However,
One leg 5a is connected to the pipe 17 and the splint plate 23.
Since the resistance wire 2a is reinforced and supported by the substrate 3 by the support wires 23a and 23b, the resistance wire 2a is prevented from tilting toward the inner wall 8 of the case 7 by using its supporting force against the above-mentioned force to topple it. Therefore, the time required for the fuse 9 to receive radiant heat from the resistance wire 2a and melt is sufficiently safely secured, so that the inner wall 8 of the case 7 receives radiant heat from the resistance wire 2a and reaches the ignition point. The fuse 9 blows out before the fire occurs, preventing a fire from occurring.

Since the resistance wire is supported, it does not tilt or bend, and therefore does not come into contact with the case, reducing the risk of the case burning due to the fuse blowing out, and making it possible to more completely prevent the occurrence of a fire.
