(Conventional technology) Heat treatment is effective in activating blood circulation, strengthening metabolism, etc. by resonating cells with far infrared rays that reach 40 to 50 mm below the skin of the human body and heating from deep inside. Electric carpets are well-known household appliances that can perform electrical therapy that is highly effective in regulating blood components and improving acidic constitution through ionic effects that provide a certain kind of electrical energy to the human body. As shown in the figure, a heating element 2, for example a planar heating element, which is energized by a control circuit that controls the heating temperature to a set temperature, is arranged in the carpet 1 and is also used as the electric potential therapy conductor 7, and is controlled by the operation of the changeover switch 19. It was a device that switched between electric potential treatment and thermal treatment (heating).

To further explain the above structure using Figure 2,
Normally closed contacts (two) of relays, which are elements of the control means 8, are connected in series to the primary side of the potential generator 6, respectively, and the control circuit 5 receives a detection signal from the temperature sensor 3. The temperature detection circuit 12, the temperature setting circuit 13 for setting the temperature of the heating element 2 stepwise or steplessly within the maximum and minimum range, and the outputs of both circuits 12 and 13 are compared to determine "H". ” output or “L” output, the comparison circuit 16 is emitting an “H” output to energize the heating element 2, and if this continues for a certain period of time T 1 , the comparator circuit 16 outputs the The forced interrupt circuit 14 (see Fig. 4) changes the "H" output that had been in use to the "L" output for a predetermined period of time T 2 (see Figure 4), and sends a danger signal (from the heating element 2 and When a signal (generated by a decrease in the resistance value between the protective electrodes 4) is transmitted, the electric shock prevention circuit 15 changes the "H" output to "L" output and starts, the comparator circuit 16, the forced interrupt circuit 14, and the electric shock An AND circuit 17 that takes the AND of each "H" output with the prevention circuit 15, a transistor 18 connected in series to the coil of the relay 11 and turned on by the "H" output of the AND circuit 17, and a transistor 18 that connects the coil to the coil of the relay 11. The relays 8 are connected in parallel and constitute an element of the control means 8.

Further, the coupling circuit 9 is provided with a switching contact of a relay which constitutes an element of the control means 8, and the contact on the normally closed side is interposed in the wiring connecting the protective electrode 4 and the potential generator 6. The contact on the open side is interposed in the wiring connecting the protective electrode 4 and the electric shock prevention circuit 15.

When the power switch 10 is turned on, if the temperature of the heating element 2 is lower than the temperature set by the temperature setting circuit 13, the comparator circuit 16 outputs "H", and both the forced interrupt circuit 14 and the electric shock prevention circuit 15 output "H". By transmitting the "H" output, the transistor 18 is turned on so that the AND circuit 17 transmits the "H" output, and thus the relay 11 and the control means 8 are activated and the heating element 2 is energized. On the other hand,
Since the protective electrode 4 and the electric shock prevention circuit 15 are connected through the coupling circuit 9, the electric carpet enters heating operation, and at the same time the protective electrode 4 acts as a protective electrode for detecting abnormalities such as pin pricks.

When the temperature of the heating element 2 reaches the set temperature, the output of the comparator circuit 16 becomes "L", or when the energization of the heating element 2 reaches a certain time T1, the forced interrupt circuit 1 is activated.
4 output becomes "L" or electric shock prevention circuit 1
When the AND circuit 17 outputs an "L" output due to the abnormality detection of the output terminal 5, the transistor 18 is turned off, and thus the relay 11 and the control means 8 are deactivated. While the heating element 2 is de-energized, the potential generator 6 and the protective electrode 4 are brought into conduction by switching the coupling circuit 9.

As a result, the protective electrode 4 is energized with a potential by the potential generator 6 and acts as a potential therapy conductor 7, and the electric carpet is automatically switched from heating to potential therapy.

In this way, as soon as the power supply to the heating element 2 is interrupted due to automatic temperature control, forced interruption, or detection of an abnormality such as pinprick, the electric potential treatment is automatically switched to, so that the heating effect is not affected in any way. The electric potential treatment operation is performed in a time-division manner.

(Effect of the invention) As is clear from the above explanation, in the present invention, heating by the heat generated by the heating element 2 and electric potential treatment by energizing the electric potential are operated alternately by automatic switching giving priority to the former. Therefore, electric potential treatment can be performed at the same time without any damage to the heating function.

In that case, in particular, since the electric potential treatment conductor 7 also serves as the protective electrode 4 for preventing electric shock, electric potential treatment can be performed while preventing electric shock, and an extremely safe and functional electric carpet with electric potential treatment device can be realized. .
