The present invention relates to a method for processing silver halide color photographic materials. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for processing silver halide color light-sensitive materials with significantly improved stability. In a method for processing a silver halide color light-sensitive material, a color developer plays an important role in determining the photographic properties of the light-sensitive material. The solution generally contains an aromatic primary amine developing agent that couples with the coupler to form a dye, but this compound is oxidized over time by oxygen in the air or metal ions in the developer, causing photographic properties to deteriorate. affect. Therefore, it is well known that sulfites are used as antioxidants in color developing agents, but since sulfites significantly inhibit the coupling between the developing agents and couplers, their usage is limited, and black and white It cannot be used in large quantities like a developer. Therefore, in color developers using aromatic primary amines as developing agents, hydroxylamine is generally used as an antioxidant along with sulfite. (Described in U.S. Pat. No. 3,141,771) However, the presence of trace amounts of heavy metal ions, such as iron and copper ions, tends to significantly accelerate the decomposition of hydroxylamine, producing ammonia. , which, as is well known, adversely affects the characteristics of color photographs.
Therefore, in a color developer containing hydroxylamine as a preservative (antioxidant), a negative pigment containing heavy metal ions is essential. On the other hand, it is well known that color developers use carbonate buffers or phosphate buffers because they require alkalinity with a pH of 9 to 12, but calcium and magnesium ions derived from water or calcium ions eluted from light-sensitive materials Because of their extremely low solubility in the buffer, they form white precipitates in the color developer, causing problems such as adhesion to photosensitive materials and clogging of filters in automatic processors. Painkillers are essential. As described above, color developers are required to have the ability to prevent the decomposition of hydroxylamine and have sufficient negative repellency for calcium ions and magnesium ions. Conventionally, as a decomposition inhibitor for hydroxylamine or a color developing agent in a color developer, methods using hydroxamic acid described in JP-A No. 52-27638 and dihydroxynaphthalene compounds described in JP-A No. 52-49828 have been used. Method used, same 52-

Method using the α-aminocarbonyl compound described in -89425, No. 56-75647 and No. 55-
41448, a method using oxycarboxylic acid represented by gluconic acid, US Patent No.
Many methods have been proposed, such as the method using hydroxyacetone or dihydroxyacetone described in No. 3615503 and British Patent No. 1306176, and the method using 2-anilinoethanol described in U.S. Patent No. 3823017. However, in all cases, the stabilization of the color developer is insufficient, the compounds are expensive, and the amounts used are large, so that practically satisfactory results have not been obtained. On the other hand, many compounds are known as metal ion anionic agents (chelating agents) used in developing solutions. For example, polycarboxylic acids include nitrilotriacetic acid and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, but these have low calcium ion penetrating ability,
Another disadvantage is that the iron complex of the compound itself promotes the decomposition of hydroxylamine. US patent
1,3-diaminopropanoltetraacetic acid described in No. 2875049 has low water solubility and low calcium penetrating ability, and is not satisfactory. US patent
Although diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid described in No. 3462269 has relatively little decomposition of hydroxylamine,
When used in a large amount, the decomposition of hydroxylamine is promoted and the amount used is limited. 1 described in JP-A No. 52-25632,
2-Cyclohexanediamine-N,N,N',
N'tetraacetic acid, bishydroxyethylethylenediamine diacetic acid described in the specification of JP-B No. 57-102624, and ethylenediamine-di(o-hydroxyphenylacetic acid) described in the specification of Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-40900 have relatively low decomposition of hydroxylamine. It is a small but very expensive compound, making it impractical for use in color developers. As chelating agents other than polycarboxylic acids, many inorganic phosphonic acids and organic phosphonic acids are known. As inorganic phosphonic acids, sodium tetrapolyphosphate, sodium hexametaphosphate, etc. are known, but these are unsatisfactory due to their low calcium penetrating ability. In addition, as the organic phosphonic acid, 1 described in US Pat. No. 3,214,454 is used.
-Hydroxyalkylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid is well known, and although this compound significantly suppresses the decomposition of hydroxylamine, it has been patented in the US.
As described in the specification of No. 3794591, since there is a drawback that salts that are hardly soluble with calcium ions and sodium ions or potassium ions are formed, means for preventing the formation of precipitates have been proposed. For example, US patent
There is a method of using lithium ions in combination as described in No. 3794591. However, lithium ions are very expensive and their usage is limited, and at the same time, if the chelating agent is used in an amount sufficient to mask the calcium and magnesium ions in the color developer, The above-mentioned precipitate is often formed and the effect of lithium ions is often insufficient. In addition, as another means for preventing the precipitation, a US patent
3994730 and JP-A-50-81337, a method of using the chelating agent in combination with other aminopolyphosphonic acid or aminopolycarboxylic acid is also proposed, but according to this method, Although this method can prevent precipitation, it tends to promote the decomposition of hydroxylamine, so it cannot be said to be an appropriate method. As an aminophosphonic acid chelating agent,
As shown in Research Disclosure No. 17048, Research Disclosure No. 13410, and US Patent No. 3994730, etc., although these compounds have improved decomposition of hydroxylamine compared to the polycarboxylic acids mentioned above, they do not have sufficient effect. I can't say that. Examples of phosphonocarboxylic acid chelating agents include JP-A-52-102726 and JP-A-53-42730;
No. 55-4024, No. 55-4025, and No. 55-
No. 126241, No. 55-65955, and No. 55-65956
No. 1, and Research Disclosure No. 18170, but neither of these methods provides a sufficient effect of preventing the decomposition of hydroxylamine. Furthermore, methods of using aromatic polyhydroxy compounds in combination with various chelating agents in color developers are already known. For example, JP-A No. 56-47038 proposes that it be used in combination with an aminopolyphosphonic acid chelating agent, but according to this method, the decomposition of hydroxylamine is rather accelerated, resulting in satisfactory results. cannot be obtained. Additionally, U.S. Patent No.
No. 3746544 proposes a method in which aminopolycarboxylic acid is used in combination, but the decomposition of hydroxylamine is large and it is not practical. As described above, no fully satisfactory and practical means have yet been found for stabilizing color developers, for example, for preventing the decomposition of hydroxylamine and preventing the precipitation of calcium and magnesium ions. Not yet. Therefore, the object of the present invention is, first, to produce color photographic images using a color developer in which hydroxylamine contained as a preservative is sufficiently protected from acceleration of decomposition due to the presence of heavy metal ions such as iron and copper. The aim is to provide a photo processing method that can be used to obtain photos. A second object of the present invention is to provide a color developing solution which has sufficient inklinity of these metal ions in the presence of calcium ions and magnesium ions, and which does not produce precipitates or cloudiness, and a color developer using the same. An object of the present invention is to provide a photographic processing method for obtaining a color photographic image. The above purpose is to prepare a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material with (1) an aromatic primary amine color developing agent, (2) hydroxylamine, and (3) at least two hydroxy groups substituted with benzene or naphthalene rings adjacent to each other. By processing with a color developer containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an aromatic polyhydroxy compound and (4) phosphonocarboxylic acid and an organic phosphonic acid represented by the following general formula (). , found that this can be achieved. General formula () In the formula, R represents a hydroxyalkyl group or an unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms. The aromatic primary amine developing agents used in the present invention are known and widely used in a number of color development processes. A concentration of about 20 g, more preferably about 0.5 g to about 10 g. Although the hydroxylamine used in the present invention can be used in the free amine form in color developers, it is more common to use it in the form of the water-soluble acid salt. Common examples of such salts are sulfates, oxalates, chlorides,
These include phosphates, carbonates, acetates, and others. Hydroxylamine may be substituted or unsubstituted, and the nitrogen atom of hydroxylamine may be substituted with an alkyl group. A preferred hydroxylamine is a compound represented by the following formula (). In this case, the coupler may or needs to diffuse into other layers during the processing step. The processing method of the present invention is an internal development method (U.S. Pat. No. 2,376,679,
2322027 and US Pat. No. 2801171), it can also be applied to the so-called external development method (US Pat. No. 2,252,718, US Pat. No. 2,592,243 and US Pat. No. 2,590,970) in which a coloring agent is present in the developer. Therefore, the processing method of the present invention can be applied to the processing of any general silver halide color photographic materials such as color negative film, color paper, color positive film, and color reversal film. In the method of the present invention, the processing steps for image-exposed color negative film, color positive film, color paper, etc. are usually (1) color development → bleaching → washing → fixing → washing → stabilization → drying (2) color development → bleach-fixing. → Washing → Stabilization → Drying (3) Color development → Stop and fix → Bleach and fix → Wash → Stabilize → Dry. Further, a pre-bath, a hardening bath, etc. may be provided before color development, and washing with water or a stabilizing bath, etc. after bleaching can be omitted. On the other hand, the processing steps for color reversal film are usually (4) black and white development → stop → washing → brushing → color development → stopping → washing → bleaching → fixing → washing → stabilizing → drying (5) black and white development → washing → washing → color The basic process is development → washing → acceleration → bleaching → fixing → washing → stabilization → drying. In steps (4) and (5), a prebath, a predural bath, a neutralization bath, etc. can be further provided. or,
A bleach-fix bath may also be used. Also, stop bath, stabilizing bath, water washing after color developing bath, washing bath after bleaching bath,
Accelerator bath etc. can be omitted. A brushing agent such as t-butylamine borane sodium borohydride, tin-amino polycarboxylic acid complex salt, sodium borohydride, etc. can be used in the brushing bath. Bath can be omitted. In the photographic processing method of the present invention, the steps shown in (1) to (5) above are useful, but the present invention is not limited to these steps. Further, the color development process is usually carried out at 20 to 60°C for 30 seconds to 10 minutes. The silver halide color photographic material used in the present invention is suitable for all color photographic materials that involve a color development process, such as color negative film, color paper, color positive film, and color reversal film. The photographic emulsion used in the present invention is written by P. Glafkides.

(The Focal Press, 1964). That is, any of the acidic method, neutral method, ammonia method, etc. may be used, and the methods for reacting the soluble silver salt and soluble halogen salt include one-sided mixing method, simultaneous mixing method,
Any combination thereof may be used. It is also possible to use a method in which particles are formed in an excess of silver ions (so-called back-mixing method).
As one type of simultaneous mixing method, a method in which the pAg in the liquid phase in which silver halide is produced can be kept constant, that is, a so-called controlled double jet method can also be used. Any of silver bromide, silver iodobromide, silver iodochlorobromide, silver chlorobromide and silver chloride may be used as silver halide in the photographic emulsion layer of the photographic light-sensitive material of the present invention. In the process of silver halide grain formation or physical ripening, a cadmium salt, a zinc salt, a lead salt, a thallium salt, an iridium salt or a complex salt thereof, a rhodium salt or a complex salt thereof, an iron salt or an iron complex salt, etc. may be present. The photographic emulsions used in this invention may be spectrally sensitized with methine dyes and others. The dyes used include cyanine dyes, merocyanine dyes, complex cyanine dyes, complex merocyanine dyes, holopolar cyanine dyes, hemicyanine dyes, styryl dyes, and hemioxonol dyes. Particularly useful dyes are those belonging to the cyanine dyes, merocyanine dyes and complex merocyanine dyes. Any of the nuclei commonly used for cyanine dyes can be used as the basic heterocyclic nucleus for these dyes. Useful sensitizing dyes include, for example, German Patent No. 929080;

A wide variety of synthetic hydrophilic polymeric materials can be used, such as single or copolymers of polymethacrylic acid, polyacrylamide, polyvinylimidazole, polyvinylpyrazole, and the like. Typical synthetic hydrophilic polymer substances include West German Patent Application (OLS) No. 2312708 and U.S. Patent No. 3620751.
No. 3879205 and Special Publication No. 7561 of 1973. The invention is also applicable to multilayer, multicolor photographic materials having at least two different spectral sensitivities on the support. Multilayer natural color photographic materials usually have at least one red-sensitive emulsion layer and at least one blue-sensitive emulsion layer on a support. The order of these layers can be arbitrarily selected as necessary. A cyan-forming coupler is used in the red-sensitive emulsion layer, a magenta-forming coupler is used in the green-sensitive emulsion layer,
It is usual that each blue-sensitive emulsion layer contains a yellow-forming coupler, but different combinations may be used depending on the case. The photosensitive material used in the present invention may contain a water-soluble dye in the hydrophilic colloid layer as a filter dye or for various purposes such as preventing irradiation. Such dyes include oxonol dyes, hemioxonol dyes, styryl dyes, merocyanine dyes, cyanine dyes, and azo dyes. Among them, oxonol dyes; hemioxonol dyes and merocyanine dyes are useful. Specific examples of dyes that can be used are listed in British Patent No. 584609.
