Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly and to perform it surely by mounting contact pieces on one side or on both sides of a base having an almost U-shaped section so as to form a contact block and inserting a contact spring or the like between the base opposing pieces of the block for pinching and fixing it. CONSTITUTION:A COM movable contact 10 is so composed that a contact block 15, in which contact pieces 14 are fitted on both sides of a base 13 whose sectional form is nearly U-shaped is interposed between one side ends of a contact spring 16 for being pinched fixed. This contact block 15 is inserted through the contact spring 16 to be pinched between the opposing pieces 13a, 13a of the base 13 in order to inwardly bend the ends of the base opposing pieces 13a, 13a facing each other to fix them together in caulking.
