Abstract

PURPOSE:To bring only the tip section of an electrode body into vertical contact with the water surface and prevent an erroneous action due to the sticking of a sediment by fitting the electrode body perpendicularly folded at the middle position to the side wall of a water storage tank so that the tip section coincides with the desired water level. CONSTITUTION:A water level sensor 8 is perpendicularly folded at the middle position of an electrode body 1 and fitted to the side wall of a water storage tank 9 so that the tip section coincides with the desired water level. When water is fed to the tank 9 and the water surface rises to reach the tip section of the electrode body 1, the current value flowing in the electrode body 1 is changed by the specific resistance of water, and the completion of water feed is detected. When the water feed is completed, only the tip section of the elec trode body 1 of the sensor 8 is brought into contact with water, and the sensor 8 is not submerged. The tip section is kept perpendicular to the water surface, and the sticking of a sediment such as scale is prevented. An erroneous action due to the sticking of the sediment in use for a long period can be prevented.

Next, the operation will be explained. The operation of the water level sensor is well known, and a detailed explanation will be omitted here, but as shown in Fig. 6, it is attached to a predetermined position on the side wall of the water tank (9). When water supply starts, the water level in the water tank (9) rises, and the water level surface reaches the electrode body (1a).
When the height of the electrode body (1a) is reached, the electrode body (1a) comes into contact with water, and the value of the current flowing through the electrode body (1) changes depending on the specific resistance of the water, and the desired amount of water is supplied by this change in the current value. is detected, and an action such as closing a water supply valve is performed.

[Operation] The water level sensor of the present invention includes an electrode body that is bent at right angles at an intermediate position and has its tip facing the bottom of the water tank, and the water is stored by aligning the tip of the electrode body with a desired water level. Since it is attached to the side wall of the tank, only the tip of the electrode comes into contact with the water perpendicular to the water level.

Next, the operation will be explained. When the water supply to the water tank (9) is started, the water level in the water tank (9) rises, and the water level reaches the tip of the electrode body (1). The water level surface is the electrode body (1)
When reaching the tip of the electrode body (1), the specific resistance of the water
It is possible to detect that the desired amount of water has been supplied by changing the value of the current flowing through the valve, and take an action such as closing the water supply valve. Therefore, when the desired amount of water has been supplied into the water storage tank (9), only the tip of the electrode body (1) of the water level sensor (8) comes into contact with the water as shown in FIG. (8) It is possible to prevent the entire structure from being submerged in water. In addition, since the tip that comes into contact with water is located perpendicular to the water level, even after long-term use, deposits such as limescale and calcium may accumulate on the tip of the electrode body (1), the plug (2), and other parts. This prevents the product from adhering to the parts, and prevents malfunctions due to deposits even after long-term use.
