Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はアルミラミネートフイルムのような金
属箔の両面にプラスチツクフイルムを接着したフ
イルムを筒状に形成して重ね合わせ溶着した筒体
の端部に、プラスチツク製やラミネートフイルム
からなる口部や蓋などを溶着する装置に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
例えば歯磨用のクリームなどのクリーム、軟膏
状物質の容器として第7図に示す形状の押出チユ
ーブが広く用いられている。このチユーブはブロ
ー成形法によりポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等
で一体成形されている。しかしこれらの材料はガ
スバリヤー製が十分ないため封入したものが芳香
を有するものである場合には、芳香成分が容器を
透過して消失する。また酸素が容器を透過して内
部に侵入し封入物が変質、変色するなどし長期の
保存に耐えない。このためねりわさび、ねり辛子
などの容器には依前として金属製チユーブが用い
られている。金属チユーブの場合、気体は透過し
ないが繰返しの折曲げに弱く、使用しているうち
に亀裂が生じ、内容物が洩れるという問題があ
る。
以上の欠点を解消するため、最近では、数十μ
mの厚さのアルミニウムフイルムの両面に、接着
性を与え、アルミニウム表面の保護を目的として
ポリエチレンフイルム又はポリプロピレンフイル
ムを貼り合わせたラミネートフイルムを用いたチ
ユーブが開発されている。このラミネートフイル
ムはフイルムに腰を持たせ、印刷性を付与するた
め、アルミニウムフイルムの片面に紙を貼り合わ
せたものが殆んどであり、紙の表面に印刷を施し
た後ポリエチレンフイルムやポリプロピレンフイ
ルムが貼り合わされている。この素材は気体を透
過しないと同時に繰返しの曲げに強い。
このラミネートフイルムは、その構造上からブ
ロー成形法やインジエクシヨン成形法により直接
チユーブを形成することは不可能である。
この素材を用いてチユーブを製造するには大別
して次の二通りの方法がある。
第8図に示すように、ラミネートフイルム1を
円筒状に曲げ両端を重ね合わせ、重ね合わせ部を
溶着して第9図に示すように筒体2を形成し、こ
の筒体2をインジエクシヨン金型内に挿入して口
部3の成形と同時に口部3と筒体2とを一体化す
る。また別途成形した口部3と筒体2とを溶着し
て第10図に示すように一体化する。前者の方法
では、筒体2を一つ一つ金型に挿入しなければな
らないので、人手を要し安全性に問題があり、高
価なインジエクシヨンマシンの稼動率が下がる。
後者の方法では、フイルムの筒状化と、口部の成
形が別工程で行なわれるため、それぞれの工程を
最も能率的な条件下で生産できる。しかしこの方
法で問題となるのは、別々に成形した口部3と筒
体2との溶着工程である。これにはヒートシール
による方法と、高周波誘導加熱による方法とがあ
る。ヒートシールによる方法では、シールに時間
がかかること、溶着用金型の温度管理が難かしい
ことなどから高速で安定した生産には不向きであ
る。そのため、最近では高周波誘導加熱による方
法が注目されている。
高周波誘導加熱による方法の原理は、第11図
に示すように、筒状導体4の周囲にワークコイル
5を配置し、ワークコイル5に電流を通すと、第
12図に示すように、筒状導体4には、ワークコ
イル5に沿つて筒状導体4に流れる電流7が生
じ、その向きはワークコイルの電流の向き6とは
逆向きである。この電流は一種の短絡電流となり
ジユール熱を発生する。しかし筒状導体4が第1
3図に示すように、周方向の一部において不連続
であると、筒状導体4に流れる電流7は、第13
図に示すようになる。筒状導体4に一端に沿つて
溶着を行なうためには、筒状導体4の一端に接近
させてワークコイルを配置する必要があるが、筒
状導体4が第13図に示すように一部で不連続に
なつていると、筒状導体4に流れる電流7は、不
連続部分で電流密度が大きくなり温度は高くなる
が、コーナー部8では殆んど電流が流れず温度が
上昇しない。第9図に示した筒体2の一端に別途
成形した口部3を高周波加熱によつて溶着する場
合も、加熱状況は第13図の場合と同様となり、
満足な溶着加工を行なうことは出来ない。
この問題を解決するために、第14図に示すよ
うに、口部3の中に円板状アルミシート9を埋め
込み、アルミシート9の外周にワークコイル5を
配置して高周波電流を流し加熱することによつ
て、周方向において均一な加熱を行ない、口部3
と筒体2を溶着することが行なわれている。しか
しこの方法では、アルミシート9を口部3に埋め
込むために、口部3の成形に当つて金型内にアル
ミシート9を一つ一つ配置しなければならないの
で、生産性、安全性に問題が残る。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
本発明はラミネートフイルムからなる前記の筒
体2の端部に、プラスチツク成形品である前記の
口部3のような部分品を溶着するに当り、口部3
内にアルミシート9のような金属を埋め込むこと
なく、口部3を筒体2の端部に均一に溶着できる
装置を提供せんとするものである。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明はこの目的を達するために、絶縁物から
なり被加工物の溶着部を支持する環状の支持面を
有する受治具と、受治具の支持面との間で被加工
物の溶着部に加圧力を加える環状の加圧面を有し
絶縁物からなる加圧治具と、前記受治具の加圧面
と加圧治具の加圧面の周囲に環状に配置された高
周波加熱用のワークコイルと、ワークコイルに接
近させワークコイルに沿つて平行に配置された金
属リングとを具えたラミネート筒体溶着装置を構
成したものである。
〔作用〕
第3図に示すように、ワークコイル5の近くに
ワークコイル5に沿い平行に金属リング10を配
置し、ワークコイル5に高周波電流を通ずると、
電磁誘導作用により金属リング10に電流を生
じ、その電流の向きはワークコイル5に流れる電
流の向きとは逆となる。このときワークコイル5
及び金属リング10に生ずる磁力線の向きは第4
図に示すように互に逆向きとなり、ワークコイル
5によつて発生する磁力線を、金属リング10に
よつて発生した磁力線が打消すように作用する。
しかしワークコイル5と、金属リング10とは接
近して配置されているので、両者の対向面の間で
は、磁力線は同一方向になるため強め合うことに
なり、結果的に金属リング10がない時のワーク
コイル5による磁力線の広がりを、金属リング1
0を配置することによつてワークコイル5と金属
リング10の間に集束させることができる。第5
図に示すように集束された部分での磁力線11の
向きは、ワークコイル5及び金属リング10に対
して軸方向ではなく、径方向になる。この様にし
て集束された磁力線11は、ワークコイル5と金
属リング10の内部に置かれた被加工物である筒
体2の側面を放射状に貫く。これにより発生する
電流12は、筒体2を周方向に流れるのではな
く、貫いた磁力線11を軸とした微小面を第5図
に示すように円状に流れるが、これら微小面を流
れる電流12は、合成されて、第6図に示すよう
に、筒体2の周方向に2本の帯状の合成電流13
となり、その電流の向きは互に逆向きである。こ
の合成電流13の基本単位は、第5図に示したよ
うに、磁力線11を軸とした微小面であるため、
合成電流13の帯のどの部分でも均一な電流密度
が得られ、第13図に示したような流れ方はしな
い。
即ち金属リング10を配置することにより、合
成電流13を筒体2の端部に集束でき、筒体2の
端部を周方向において均一に加熱することがで
き、別に成形した口部3との溶着を極めて安定に
行なうことができる。
〔実施例〕
第1図は本発明装置の一実施例であつて、アル
ミニウムフイルムの両面にポリプロピレンフイル
ムなどの熱可塑性樹脂フイルムを接着したラミネ
ートフイルムを円筒状に曲げ相対する縁を重ね合
せて熱溶着して形成した第9図に示したような細
長の筒体2の一端に、別途熱可塑性樹脂を成型し
て得た口部3を溶着加工するに用いるものであ
る。絶縁物製の受治具14の外周は、筒体2を嵌
合できるように形成され、その一端には、筒体2
の一端と口部3との溶着部18を嵌合した状態で
内側から支持する環状の支持面16が形成されて
いる。加圧治具15は絶縁物製で溶着部18を支
持面16との間で加圧できるように形成された環
状の加圧面17を有し、その外周に接近して銅パ
イプからなるワークコイル5が、加圧治具15の
外周に設けた凹部に環状に施されている。加圧治
具15の端部にはワークコイル5に近接して黄銅
製の金属リング10が、筒体2の外周と接するよ
うに加圧治具15にねじ結合されワークコイル5
と平行して設けられている。
この装置では受治具14の端部の支持面16
に、口部3の一端を嵌合し、口部3の外周を通し
て受治具14の外周に筒体2を嵌合して、その一
端を口部3の一端外周と重ならせ、次いで加圧治
具15の加圧面17で筒体2の一端を、口部3の
外周に圧着せしめ、相互の溶着部18を支持面1
6と加圧面17との間で加圧した状態でワークコ
イル5に高周波電流を通じて溶着部18を溶着せ
しめる。
第2図は、本発明装置の他の実施例を示したも
ので、第9図の筒体2と同様に形成された径の大
きい筒体2の一端に外方に張り出したフランジを
形成し、このフランジにアルミニウムラミネート
フイルムからなる蓋の縁を溶着するように形成し
たものである。この例では、受治具14の支持面
16の上に重ねて金属リング10が嵌合して乗せ
てあり、加圧治具15の加圧面17と金属リング
10との間に、筒体2のフランジと蓋19とを挟
んで溶着加工を行なうようにしたものであつて、
ワークコイル5はフランジと蓋19との溶着部1
8の外周に位置して加圧治具15に保持せしめて
ある。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明によれば、ラミネートフイルムを筒状に
曲げ相対する縁を溶着した筒体の端部にプラスチ
ツク部分を効率よく溶着できる装置を提供でき
る。

  1. 1 絶縁物からなり被加工物の溶着部を支持する
    環状の支持面を有する受治具と、受治具の支持面
    との間で被加工物の溶着部に加圧力を加える環状
    の加圧面を有し絶縁物からなる加圧治具と、前記
    受治具の支持面と加圧治具の加圧面の周囲に環状
    に配置された高周波加熱用のワークコイルと、ワ
    ークコイルに接近してワークコイルに沿つて平行
    に配置された金属リングとを具えたラミネート筒
    体溶着装置。
