Generally, this type of bathwater circulation pump device connects the suction pipe 3 and discharge pipe 4 of the circulation pump 2 to the bathtub 1 as shown in FIG. 3 to circulate bathwater.
The water level of the bath water inside the circulation pump 2 is as shown by the dotted line in the diagram.
If the circulation pump 2 is operated without reaching the suction port 5, there is a problem that the circulation pump 2 runs dry and burns out. Therefore, when it is detected that the water level of the bath water has reached a sufficient water level without any trouble for operating the circulation pump 2, the circulation pump 2 is activated.

By the way, the means for detecting the water level of the bath water is
As shown in FIG. 3, a water level pipe 6 communicating with the bathtub 1 is provided externally, and when the electrode 7 provided on this water level pipe 6 is short-circuited by bath water at the set water level, the circulation pump 2 can be operated. I am in a state. In this configuration, a circulation pump 2 is provided for a bathtub 1.
In addition, there is work to connect the water level pipe 6, and
The water level pipe 6 and the circulation pump 2 must be wired by running lead wires around them, and the construction is troublesome. In addition, a low voltage stepped down by a transformer or the like is applied to the electrode 7 of the water level tube 6, but if the insulation of these transformers is broken, there is a risk that a commercial power supply voltage of 100V will be applied to the bath water from the electrode 7. There is sex. In addition, if a full water alarm is installed to notify when the bathtub is full, it is necessary to add more electrodes to detect the full water state using the above method, and as the number of electrodes increases, The possibility of falling into a dangerous situation was increasing.

This configuration uses a member that responds to the pressure of the bath water to act as a dry run prevention switch, so there is no need to contact the bath water with electrodes for detecting the water level, and if a power failure occurs, the dry running prevention switch will be activated. It is electrically safe because no high pressure is applied to the bathtub, and there is no need to connect a water level pipe to the bathtub, and the water level detector is installed in the circulation pump, making wiring easier and easier to install. It is effective.

In the figure, 8 is a bathtub, to which a circulation pump 11 is connected via a suction pipe 9 and a discharge pipe 10.
A jet pump 12 is installed in the flow path of the discharge pipe 10.
is inserted, sucks air using the negative pressure of the jet pump 12, mixes the discharged water,
It is designed to generate air bubbles in the bath water. The pump casing 13 of the circulation pump 11 is provided with a water level detector 14 and a full water alarm 15 communicating with the suction side of the circulation pump 11. As shown in FIG. 2, the water level detector 14 includes a casing 16 and a diaphragm 1 that is provided within the casing 16 and receives the pressure of bath water through the suction side of the circulation pump 11.
7, an actuator 18 that is driven by the displacement of the diaphragm 17, a spring 19 that urges the diaphragm 17 toward the pressure receiving side, a lever 20 coupled to the actuator 18, and a lever 20 that is reversibly operated by the lever 20. Dry running prevention switch 21 that operates
and a notification switch 22. The dry run prevention switch 21 is inserted into the power supply circuit of the circulation pump 11, and the notification switch 22 is connected to the full water alarm 15. Note that an operation switch (not shown) is connected to the power source of the circulation pump 11, and the full water alarm 15 is provided with an alarm/stop switch.

In the above configuration, when the bath water is not filled to the set water level in the bathtub 8, no pressure is applied to the diaphragm 17 of the water level detector 14, so the diaphragm 17 is moved downward by the spring 19, and the actuator 18 and the lever 20 are also moved downward, the dry run prevention switch 21 is pressed by the lever 20 and is in the OFF state, and the notification switch 22 is released from the pressure and is in the OFF state. Therefore, in this state, the circulation pump 11 does not operate idly.

Next, the water level of the bath water rises one after another, and when it reaches the set water level, the pressure of the bath water causes the diaphragm 17 of the water level detector 14 to move against the force of the spring 19 to the state shown in FIG. This diaphragm 17
Due to the displacement of the lever 20, the dry running prevention switch 2 is activated.
Release the pressure from step 1. Therefore, the dry running prevention switch 21
is turned on and the circulation pump 11 is ready to operate. Then, when the lever 20 is further raised, the notification switch 22 operates the full water alarm 15 to notify that the water is full.

As mentioned above, when the bath water has not reached the set water level, the dry run prevention switch is turned off using the pressure of the bath water, so the circulation pump does not run dry and there is no risk of burning out the circulation pump. Never. In addition, the dry running prevention switch does not detect the water level with electrodes as in the past, so even if there is an insulation breakdown in a step-down transformer, high pressure will not be applied to the bath water, making it electrically safe. .

Furthermore, since the dry run prevention switch is installed in the circulation pump section and communicates with its suction side, there is no need for special construction in the bathtub to detect the water level, and the wiring to the circulation pump is short. Easy to install.

As explained above, the present invention has devised a water level detection means to provide a circulation pump device that is electrically safe and easy to install, and the lever that is moved up and down by a single diaphragm is designed to prevent dry running. By configuring so that both the first switch and the second switch for warning of full water can be pressed, one diaphragm and lever can detect both the water level to prevent dry running and the water level to notify of full water. Since it is also used for both, the number of parts can be reduced accordingly.
