Conventionally, as a surface treatment method for calcium silicate boards, after grinding the surface of the calcium silicate board (hereinafter also referred to as the base material), a sealer made of a low-molecular moisture-curing isocyanate resin was applied at a solid content of 4 g/m 2 Apply using a roll coater at a ratio of
After a period of time has elapsed, a common method is to apply an ultraviolet curable sealant on top of it, irradiate it with ultraviolet rays using an ultraviolet lamp, and after curing, sand it with sanding paper of about 320 grit to form a base for painting. However, when this base-treated calcium silicate board is actually used as a noncombustible decorative board for interior decoration, under conditions where the base material is peeled off by external force such as cutting or removing curing tape during installation, Accidents often occurred in which the paint film fell off from the base material.

Generally, when applying surface decoration to a calcium silicate board, the surface of the base material is sanded, but this base material is soft and porous. Because it contains a lot of fibrous material such as pulp asbestos, the surface of the sanded base material is fluffy, and the powder from sanding gets into the pores, and the abrasive grains of the sanding paper cause the surface of the base material to become fluffy. It was found that the surface layer of the base material could not be strengthened by normal surface treatment for reasons such as the structure of the base material being destroyed and the surface layer rising above the lower part of the surface.

The present invention is a method for treating the surface of a calcium silicate board whose main components are silicic acid, calcareous material, and fibrous material. By evaporating a part of the resin solvent using drying means such as far infrared rays, stopping the penetration of the resin into the base material, and fixing each resin with a small molecular weight in the lower surface layer of the base material and curing it. , the surface layer is strengthened.

When it was applied to the surface of the substrate to contain 4 g/ m2 solids and allowed to dry naturally, the resin with a smaller molecular weight penetrated quickly and formed the lower surface layer, while the resin with a larger molecular weight formed the upper surface layer. This made it possible to fix fluff or micropores, and to make the broken parts of the substrate surface stronger.

Evaporate the solvent. The time period after application of the sealer until hot air is blown is adjusted by the rate at which the sealer is sucked into the base material. The resin content in the sealer after the solvent evaporated was distributed and fixed in the upper and lower parts of the surface layer. The filler or paint applied to the base material treated in this manner was able to adhere closely to the sealer resin to form a strong coating film.

As described above, the present invention provides a method for treating the base of a calcium silicate board, in which resins having different molecular weights are mixed, and after being applied to the base material made of the calcium board, a part of the solvent of the resin is evaporated by a drying means. Since the resin with a low molecular weight is fixed and cured in the lower part of the surface layer of the base material and the resin with a higher molecular weight is fixed in the upper part of the surface layer, the surface layer of the base material is effectively cured and can be used during cutting during installation or during curing. A calcium silicate plate is obtained which exhibits an excellent surface protection effect without peeling even when the tape is removed.
