Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a photosensitive material drying apparatus for drying a photosensitive material such as a film by blowing hot air thereon has been constructed as shown in FIG. According to this, a plurality of rollers 72 are arranged in a staggered manner at equal intervals inside the photosensitive material drying device 70, and the plurality of rollers 72 form a transport path for the film 74 extending in the vertical direction. A plurality of hot air supply chambers 76 are arranged near the roller 72 with a conveyance path for the film 74 interposed therebetween. Hot air supply room 76
Hot air generated by a fan and a heater (not shown) is supplied to the heater. A hot air outlet 78 is provided on the film conveyance path side of each hot air supply chamber 76 along the film conveyance direction.
There are two. The hot air supplied to the hot air supply chamber 76 passes through the hot air outlet 78 to the film 74 and the roller 7.
It is sprayed near the upstream side in the conveying direction of the film 74 at the contact portion with the film 74 . This dries the film 74.

It is often necessary to increase the amount to shorten the drying time. However, when the distance between the hot air outlet 78 and the film 74 is reduced in order to increase the amount of hot air blown in the conventional photosensitive material drying apparatus 70, the hot air is directed perpendicularly to the film 74. As a result, the drying efficiency in the vicinity of the contact area between the film 74 and the roller 72 deteriorated, resulting in uneven drying.

By discharging hot air toward the upstream side (in the direction of arrow E in FIG. 7) and the downstream side (in the direction of arrow F in FIG. 7) of the roller 72 at the contact area between the film 74 and the roller 72, the contact between the film 74 and the roller 72 is Moisture accumulated near the contact portion is evaporated to prevent uneven drying of the film 74. In addition, the hot air outlet 78
The highly humid air that is discharged from the film 74 and has evaporated the moisture from the film 74 is released from the exhaust hole 79 formed between the two warm air discharge ports 78 of the hot air supply chamber 76 in the opposite direction to the film 74. There is.

In a photosensitive material drying device that discharges hot air near the contact area between the film 74 and the roller 72, two hot air discharge ports 7 of a hot air supply chamber 76 are directed toward the film 74.
8, and this discharged hot air is mainly discharged from the discharge hole 79 between the hot air discharge ports 78 formed in the hot air supply chamber 76, so that the air after the drying process is The high humidity air remains near the film 74 because the air cannot be discharged quickly enough. For this reason, there arises a disadvantage that the drying efficiency of the film 74 becomes poor.

In a photosensitive material drying apparatus that blows hot air near the upstream side of the roller 72 at the contact area between the roller 72 and the roller 72, the hot air outlet 78
Since the distances between the two are equally spaced, the hot air is not blown evenly in the conveying direction, and there are parts of the film 74 where the hot air is blown at the same point, resulting in uneven drying of the film 74. Sometimes.

The air is discharged from the through hole formed in the air supply section, and also from the discharge path formed between adjacent warm air supply chambers. This discharge passage can be formed wider than the through hole formed in the hot air supply section. The hot air blown onto the photosensitive material from the through hole of the hot air supply chamber and the discharge path between the adjacent hot air supply chambers can be efficiently discharged from near the surface of the photosensitive material. Also,
The hot air newly discharged from the hot air discharge port can reliably dry the surface of the photosensitive material.

Furthermore, there is a warm air supply chamber that discharges hot air from approximately parallel warm air discharge ports to two locations upstream of the roller in the contact area between the photosensitive material and the roller, and a Warm air supply chambers that discharge warm air from two approximately parallel hot air discharge ports near the downstream side are alternately arranged along the conveyance path. As a result, a plurality of spacing dimensions are formed along the conveyance direction of the hot air blown onto the surface of the photosensitive material. Furthermore, the hot air discharged from one of the pair of hot air discharge ports arranged in these hot air supply chambers is mainly discharged from the through hole formed in the hot air supply chamber. However, the hot air discharged from the other hot air outlet can be discharged through the adjacent hot air supply chamber as a discharge path.

Furthermore, each time the leading edge of the photosensitive material that is being conveyed by the roller comes into contact with the roller, even if there is unevenness in the conveyance speed of the photosensitive material, hot air is less likely to be blown onto a certain part of the photosensitive material, and the photosensitive material can be dried almost uniformly.
