After being rolled, it is shaped by firing.

When winding a sheet prepreg around a mandrel, it is possible to perform the winding in a state where a large pressure contact force is applied between the prepreg and the mandrel or between the prepregs, by applying tension to the prepreg or other means. Although desirable, sheet prepreg has a large contact area, making it difficult to obtain a large pressure contact force. In addition, when winding a sheet prepreg, an air layer may be formed between the wound layers, and if the air layer is fired with the air layer formed, the air layer becomes a void and remains in the tubular shape. This will reduce the strength of your body. An object of the present invention is to provide a manufacturing method capable of molding a high-strength tubular body with a small number of steps, regardless of the diameter and length.

The method consists of forming a tape-like prepreg by overlapping aligned horizontal fibers, winding the prepreg around a mandrel so that it overlaps partially in the width direction, and baking it. its action, and

Furthermore, even if an air layer is formed, the air layer expands during firing and can move in the width direction of the tape and escape to the outside of the prepreg P.

Since a space is formed between each structure and the mandrel 3, voids are likely to occur, and as shown in FIG. 7, the density of the fibers is lower than that of the structure of the present invention, and it is inferior in terms of strength. In other words, since the present invention is manufactured by winding a tape-shaped prepreg, it is possible to mold a wide variety of tubular bodies by simply selecting the shape of the mandrel, regardless of the diameter and length. A good press-contact state can be obtained without using devices that apply large pressure during winding, and voids are less likely to occur.

。[Effects of the Invention] Therefore, a manufacturing method has been obtained which requires fewer steps and can form a highly strong tubular body, regardless of the diameter and length. In particular, in the present invention, a stepped portion is formed on the outer surface of the tubular body as shown in FIG. 5, so that when used as a fishing rod, it is difficult to slip in the hand during operation and becomes easy to handle. In addition, when forming a twilled part on the outer surface of the middle part of the rod, as shown in FIG. By winding the forming tape-like prepregs one on top of the other at a large pitch, uneven parts are formed on the outer surface of the rod, which also has the effect of making it difficult for even a wet fishing line to adhere to this outer surface.

represents the manufacturing process. In this process, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the fiber direction of the reinforcing fibers is set in the longitudinal direction of the vertical fibers 1, which are aligned, and the fiber direction of the reinforcing fibers is set in the direction perpendicular to the vertical fibers 1. A prepreg P formed into a tape shape by overlapping aligned horizontal fibers 2 and impregnating it with a thermosetting resin such as an epoxy resin is used. This prepreg P has a width W of 15 mm, a thickness T1 of the vertical fibers 1 of 0.03 mm, and a thickness T2 of the horizontal fibers 2 of 0.03 mm.
The thickness is set to 2 to 0.7 mm, and each fiber is made of glass fiber, carbon fiber, or the like.

At the time of this winding, measures such as applying a braking force to the rotating shaft 4 of the tape are taken so that the prepregs P or the prepregs P and the mandrel 3 are brought into pressure contact with each other with an appropriate pressure. Next, as shown in FIG. 4, a heat-shrinkable tape 5 is wrapped around the upper surface of the prepreg P that has been wound, and then the molding is completed by firing. Incidentally, during this firing, the prepreg P is in a compressed state due to the shrinkage of the tape 5, and the resins of the prepreg P that overlap each other are integrated by the action of heat. Thereafter, the mandrel 3 is pulled out, the tape 5 is removed, and both ends are cut to obtain the tubular body A having the cross-sectional shape shown in FIG.
