Since it has an optical conversion circuit, it is possible to construct an ocean floor observation system at multiple locations on the ocean floor using a pair of submarine optical fiber couples. Moreover, this pair of submarine optical fiber cables can be realized with a single submarine optical fiber cable, so even if the number of submarine observation devices increases, there is no need to install multiple cables, and the submarine installation work can be completed in a series of steps. Since this can be achieved by cable construction, it has the effect of making it possible to realize an extremely inexpensive submarine observation system.
