板を重ね合わせてなる液晶表示装置の概略的な平
面図であり、第７図はそのＢ−Ｂ線断面図である

- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 一対のガラス基板の対向面にそれぞれ帯状透明
電極が有効画面に応じた有効領域に対応して配設
されるとともに、これらガラス基板は前記帯状透
明電極が互いに直交するように所定の間隙をもつ
て対向配置されてなり、 前記ガラス基板の有効領域以外の領域に該領域
における対向距離を有効領域における対向距離と
略同一とするためのダミー電極が設けられてなる
液晶表示装置。
