本発明は、プレス打抜品のバリを自動的に検知

(従来の技術)
プレス打抜は、その製法上ポンチ側にバリが出
るため、通常エツチング、サンドブラスト、ベル
トグラインダー等でプレス打抜品のバリを削除し
ている。このうちエツチング、サンドブラスト
は、その性質上使用が制限され、ベルトグライン
ダーのみが広くバリ削除に使用されている。ベル
トグラインダーでバリ削除を行なうには、バリの
ある方向を一定方向(例えば上面又は下面)に揃
えておこなう必要がある。バリ方向を揃えるに
は、従来作業者が目視にてこれを検知し、バリ方
向を揃えていた。このため作業性が悪く、製造コ

(発明が解決しようとする問題点)
そこで本発明者は、バリ方向を判別する機器と
していわゆるイメージセンサーを使用することを
研究し、その結果次のような知見を得た。即ちプ
レス打抜品はそのエツジ部の一側縁にバリを形成
するが、バリ方向と反対側に打抜ダレ部を形成す
る。バリは先端が尖つているが、ダレ部は丸みを
帯びており、バリとダレ部とにそれぞれ光を照射
するとその反射方向が全く異なる。とくに光源と
イメージセンサとを適宜配置するとダレ部では反
射光の強度分布にピークが生じるがバリのある個
所では光源からの光が直接イメージセンサーに入

(問題点を解決するための手段)
すなわち本発明は、プレス打抜品のエツジ部に
光を照射してその反射光をイメージセンサに入力
し、このイメージセンサで反射光の反射強度の分
布を検出し、反射強度分布にピークがない場合に
光を照射したエツジ部にバリがあることを検知
し、反射強度分布にピークがある場合に光を照射
したエツジ部がバリ方向と反対側の打抜ダレ部で
あることを検知し、しかる後バリの有無の検知に
基づいて、プレス打抜品を反転するプレス打抜品

を判別し、そのバリ方向を揃えて、研磨するライ
ンを示す。このラインでは、プレス打抜品Pを送
り用シユート1へ送り、振動させて、プレス打抜

内へ導き、プレス打抜品を整列させる。次いで制
御用センサ3での検知信号にもとづき送り用ゲー
ト4を開き、プレス打抜品を1個づつシユート5
に落とす。シユート5から送られたプレス打抜品
を定ピツチ送り用ゲート6で一定間隔ごとに第1
コンベア7上に送る。次いで第1コンベア7上の
プレス打抜品のうち、正常でないものを異常打抜
品検出、排出装置17で取除いた後、バリ方向判
別機8に導いてバリ方向を判別する。しかる後プ
レス打抜品を反転機9にかけてバリ方向に応じて
反転させ、バリ方向を揃えて第2コンベア10上
に送る。そしてバリ方向を揃えたプレス打抜品を
