(Prior Art) The present inventor has developed a conventional patch that exhibits a cooling effect, which consists of a support body in which a water-insoluble superabsorbent resin is inserted between two base fabrics in a sandwich-like manner, and a drug layer. (Patent No. 1358560, Special Publication No. 61-24367, and Utility Model Registration No. 1559646)
Particularly in patches that require compressive properties such as anti-inflammatory and analgesic agents, water-insoluble super absorbent resin absorbs a large amount of water to provide a cooling sensation and cooling effect, thereby providing anti-inflammatory agents. It is of great help in increasing the sustainability and permeability of the product.

However, water-insoluble superabsorbent resin is usually used in the form of powder, which is uniformly spread on a base fabric such as non-woven fabric, another base fabric is layered on top of that, and then the resin is passed through an embossing roll or the like. The resin powder particles may be fixed to a base fabric, or the resin particles may be spread on cloth, paper, or similar materials to form a sheet, or the resin particles may be placed in a bag shape around the outer periphery of the sprayed area. The work involved heat sealing as shown in the cross section in Figure 6, which was a complicated and time-consuming process. In the figure, a is the patch, b, b' are the base fabric, and c
is a powdery water-insoluble super absorbent resin layer, d is a drug, and e
is a release paper, and f is a seal portion.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the production of the conventional patch described above, a high degree of operability is required to uniformly spread the water-insoluble resin c in powder form onto the base fabric b'. Moreover, once the resin is fixed to the base fabric, the resin powder particles tend to come off easily, so there are problems such as having to heat-seal the outer periphery of the sprayed area into a bag-like shape as mentioned above, which makes the work difficult. There was a problem that it was complicated and time-consuming (increased number of steps).

Fibrous water-insoluble super absorbent resin is a crosslinked or partially crosslinked synthetic resin mainly composed of acrylic polymers, such as copolymers of ammonium acrylate and acrylamide, acrylonitrile polymers, or ammonium acrylate and acrylamide copolymers. A double-structured fiber with a copolymer as the outer layer and an acrylonitrile polymer as the core, or a mixture of these with highly water-absorbent fibers such as rayon fibers, is recommended.

The base fabric (1a or 1b) interposed between the drug layer 3 and the fibrous water-insoluble superabsorbent resin 2 is preferably made of a water-impermeable material such as a synthetic resin film or a nonwoven fabric, such as a polyester fiber nonwoven fabric or a polyester fabric. A nonwoven fabric 1a, a water-impermeable adhesive layer 1b, or a laminate of the adhesive layer and polyester fibers can also be used. The water-impermeable adhesive layer is an adhesive used as a blocking anchor coat, and is mainly composed of an elastic body, an adhesion enhancer, a softener, a plasticizer, etc. In the present invention, the elastic body includes raw rubber, purified paragum, Synthetic rubbers such as polystyrene rubber and polyvinyl butyral, vinyl chloride, and vinyl acetate copolymers are used. Such an adhesive may be one in which the same substance as the adhesive used in the drug layer 3 of the present invention is used.
It has the advantage of being safe without problems such as deterioration or release, and being easy to manufacture.

FIG. 5 is a simple explanatory diagram showing the concept of manufacturing the adhesive patch of the present invention. 11 is a raw roll of the nonwoven fabric laminate A, 12 is a base paper roll of release paper 4, and 13 is a press roll, in front of which the drug 3 is integrated into the fiber layer A.
and release paper 4, and are combined with a press roll 13. 14 cuts the patch sent by a cut slit into a predetermined shape and sends it to the packaging device 15, so manufacturing is extremely simple.

(Effects) In conventional products, the water-insoluble superabsorbent resin is a loose powder, so it is not firmly fixed to the base fabric and may fall off.In order to be laminated to the patch, it must be heat-sealed as shown in Figure 6. The outer periphery of the powder application area had to be sealed in a bag shape, which required a lot of work, and it also had to be cut between the sealed areas on the outer periphery of the powder application area to create a single patch. In the present invention, since the water-insoluble superabsorbent resin having the above-mentioned structure is in the form of fibers, it can be treated as a long raw fabric by forming an integral laminate A between two base fabrics using a needle punch or the like. As shown in Figure 5, it is possible to place the drug on the surface of this long original laminated sheet, cover it with release paper, and easily combine it with a press roll. Since the product can be freely cut to any size, patches of different sizes can be made extremely easily depending on the purpose.

Furthermore, in the past, it was necessary to incorporate into the manufacturing process an operation of spreading a powdered water-insoluble superabsorbent resin onto the base fabric. However, the product of the present invention can be handled as a long original fabric in which water-insoluble superabsorbent fibers are laminated between the base fabrics in a completely different department, so the adhesive patch can be applied in another department during the manufacturing process. This has great effects, such as being able to divide it into parts, making it easier to handle and improving work efficiency, and making it possible to reduce manufacturing costs.

In addition, conventional powdered water-insoluble superabsorbent resins have a water absorption power of 400 to 700 times their own weight, so when used as a patch, they absorb more water than necessary, and the excess water flows out. However, since the water-insoluble superabsorbent resin made into fibers has a water-absorbing power of about 100 times its own weight, the patch of the present invention does not have the above-mentioned problems. This hardly occurs, and it can be extremely effective as a patch that provides a cooling sensation and a cooling effect.
