Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本発明は、日本酒のお燗等を行う加温機能付き
の紙管容器本体の上端部にプラスチツクリングを
溶着する超音波溶着装置に関する。
[従来の技術] 日本酒のお燗機能付き紙管容器は知られてい
る。こ紙管容器は、螺旋状に巻かれた複数の厚紙
層で形成された円筒状の本体で形成されている。
この円筒状本体内には、加温手段として生石灰
と、この生石灰と混合しないように別個の容器に
内封された水とを収容した金属缶が挿入されてい
る。
この金属缶は上記紙管の下端より内部に挿入さ
れ、金属製の底蓋と共に紙管容器の下に巻き締め
られて固着される。そして、この紙管容器の上部
は、いわゆるプルトツプ式の飲み口を形成する金
属製の蓋を下部と同様に巻き締めて密封されてい
る。
内部の飲み物を暖める場合には、金属缶内の水
と生石灰とを混合する。
この従来の紙管容器によれば、下端部と同様に
上端部も金属蓋で巻き締めにより密封されている
ため、飲物を注入した後に高温高圧下で殺菌し、
この後に減圧する場合、紙管容器が変形し易く、
内容物が漏洩する場合がある。
このため、本出願人は第4図乃至第6図に示す
紙管容器を開発した。
すなわち、この紙管容器10は内装フイルムを
貼付した容器本体1内に金属缶3を配設し、この
金属缶3内に加温手段として生石灰4と水容器5
とを収容する。この生石灰4と水容器5は緩衝用
段ボール6を介して金属製の底蓋7により金属缶
3内に封入されており、この金属缶3と底蓋7は
容器本体1の下端に巻き締めにより固着されてい
る。この金属製の底蓋7には水と生石灰が反応し
たときの水蒸気等を逃がす空気抜き用の孔7aが
設けられており、この孔7aは適宜のフイルム8
で底側から閉鎖されている。更に、容器本体1の
下端には護キヤツプ9が嵌合されており、この保
護キヤツプに水溶器5を穿孔するピンが挿通孔9
aが設けられている。この穿孔用のピンは通常は
保護キヤツプに装着しておくことができる。
そして、免容器本体1の上端はプラスチツク製
のリング2を介して可撓性の薄膜材で密封する。
すなわち、リング2を容器本体1の上部テーパ部
で内装フイルム1aに超音波溶着し、このリング
2の上面に可撓性薄膜材を貼付して上蓋を形成す
るものである。
これにより、内部の酒を高温高圧下で殺菌した
後、冷却する前に上蓋を密封しても、可撓性薄膜
材で形成した上蓋が下方に撓むだけて容器本体の
変形が防止されて漏洩が防止される。また危険な
金属の切り口が形成されずに安全である。
しかし、容器本体1の上端のテーパ状の装着部
にプラスチツクリング2を溶着する際、超音波溶
着装置のホーンがプラスチツクリング2の内面に
当接してこのリング2を超高速振動させるため、
連続的に多数の紙管容器本体1にプラスチツクリ
ング22を次々と溶着すると、こホーンにリング
2の熱が蓄積される。このため、プラスチツクリ
ング2がホーンに付着し易くなり、容器本体1に
対して正しい位置に正確に溶着するのが困難とな
る。そして、このプラスチツクリングが傾斜した
り、あるいは、正確な位置に取付けられないとき
は紙管容器の見栄えが不格好となり、また、プラ
スチツクリングが波状となり、あるいは、割れを
生じることがある。このため、正確かつ効率よく
プラスチツクリングを溶着することのできる装置
の開発が望まれていた。
本発明は上記問題点に鑑みてなされたもので、
高温高圧下における殺菌の後、上蓋を密閉して常
温まで冷却しても紙管本体が変形することのない
紙管容器を正確かつ効率よく製造できる超音波溶
着装置を提供することを目的とする。
[問題点を解決するための手段] 本発明による超音波溶着装置は、管容器本体の
上部に溶着されるプラスチツクリングに当接する
ホーンと、このホーンの周部に前記プラスチツク
リングとの当接部から所定の間隔を介在させて環
状に配設した冷却空気パイプと、この空気パイプ
のホーンに面する側に穿たれた複数の空気噴出孔
とを備え、前記プラスチツクリングに当接するホ
ーンの部分を一定温度に保持させたことを特徴と
する。
[作用] この超音波溶着装置によると、プラスチツクリ
ングに当接してこのリングを超高速で振動させる
ホーンは、この周部に配設された冷却空気パイプ
の空気噴出孔を介して冷却空気を噴き付けられ、
一定の温度に保持される。したがつて連続的にプ
ラスチツクリングを溶着する場合にも、摩擦熱が
ホーンに蓄積されない。
以下添付図面を参照して本発明の実施例を詳細
に説明する。
[実施例] 第1図は本発明の実施例による溶着装置を設け
た紙管容器製造装置のの全体の配置状態を示す。
この紙管製造装置20は基台21上に、3本の
支柱19を介して所定位置に支持された円筒カム
22を備え、この円筒カム22の周部にはカム溝
22aが全周に亙つて連続的に配置されている。
円筒カム22の周部には、紙管容器本体1を供
給する紙管容器供給ステーシヨン25と、この紙
管容器本体1の上端にプラスチツクリングを取付
けるリング取付けステーシヨン26と、超音波振
動装置により紙管容器の内装フイルムにプラスチ
ツク製のリングを溶着する溶着ステーシヨン27
と、このリングを溶着された紙管容器を排出する
排出ステーシヨン28とが順に配置されている。
そして、円筒カム22の下側のターンテーブル2
3がこれらの各ステーシヨンに沿つて間欠的に矢
印Aの方向に回転される。
上記円筒カム22の下側に同軸状に設けられた
円環状のターンテーブル23外周部には、円筒状
の受け部材30がボルト等により等間隔に固設さ
れている。
また、ターンテーブル23の内周部には円筒状
の支持台24が固設されており、この支持台24
に設けられた適宜の案内レール上を摺動部材32
が垂直方向にのみ移動できるように嵌合されてい
る。この摺動部材32の上端部には上方の円筒カ
ム22のカム溝22a内を転動するローラ32a
が設けられ、下端部には受け部材30に対し垂直
方向に出入り可能なクランプ手段35が設けられ
ている。このクランプ手段35のクランプ腕36
はカム駆動軸37を介して駆動される適宜のカム
装置により、上記供給ステーシヨン25及び排出
ステーシヨン28で開放され、その他の位置で閉
じられる。
円筒カム22のカム溝22aは、ターンテーブ
ル23が回転したときに、これらの各クランプ手
段35を各作業ステーシヨンに応じて受け部材3
0より上の高位置と、受け部材30内に収容され
る低位置との間を垂直方向に移動する。
リング取付けステーシヨン26には、紙管容器
本体1の上端にプラスチツクリング2を取付ける
リング装着装置38が設けられており、ターンテ
ーブル23と同期して回転駆動されるターレツト
40を備える。
このターレツト40は回転軸39により基台2
1上に支えられており、この周部には4個の案内
シリンダ41が等間隔に装着されている。この案
内シリンダ41はプラスチツクリング2よりも
0.1乃至1mm小径に形成され、上端部はテーパ状
となつており、プラスチツクリング供給装置46
から移送レール47を介して移送されてくるプラ
スチツクリング2が嵌め込まれる。42はプラス
チツクリング2を案内シリンダ41内に嵌め込む
押込みパツドで、43は案内シリンダ41から押
し抜いて紙管容器本体の上端に装着する押し抜き
パツドである。これらの各パツド42,43はそ
れぞれエアシリンダ44,45により作動され
る。
このターレツト40はタイミングベルトによ
り、ターンテーブル23及びカム駆動軸38を介
するカム装置と同期して回転され、ターンターブ
ル23の受け部材30がリング取付けステーシヨ
ン26に停止したときに、この受け部材30と整
合した位置に案内シリンダ41を停止させる。
そして、本発明の実施例による溶着装置48が
リング溶着ステーシヨン27に設けられている。
第2図に示すように、この溶着装置48はシリ
ンダ50で上下動されるホーン49を備える。プ
ラスチツクリング2を溶着する場合、このホーン
49の先端部は紙管容器本体1の上端に装着され
たプラスチツクリング2内に挿入されて、第3図
に示すようにプラスチツクリング2の内周面に当
接し、例えば約18000Hzの超高速度で振動させる。
また、ホーン49ののプラスチツクリング2に
当接する先端部の上側には、冷却空気パイプ50
が円環状に取巻いている。この冷却空気パイプ5
0は適宜のブラケツト52を介してホーン49と
共に上下動可能に結合されており、このホーン4
9に面する側には多数の空気噴出孔51が穿たれ
ている。
この冷却空気パイプ51は例えばエアーシリン
ダの作動空気源から空気を供給されており、空気
噴出孔51を介してホーン49の外周面に空気を
噴出する。これにより、プラスチツクリング2を
超高速で振動させた時に発生する摩擦熱がこのホ
ーン49内に蓄積されない。
次に、溶着装置の作動についてこの紙管容器製
造装置と共に説明する。
第1図に示すように、紙管容器供給ステーシヨ
ン25においてクランプ腕36を開いた状態のク
ランプ手段35に紙管容器本体1が供給される。
この後、クランプ腕36が閉じられ、ターンテー
ブル23の回転と共に、カム溝22aに沿つて摺
動部材32のローラ32aが回転し、クランプ腕
36を受け部材30内に下降する。ターンテーブ
ル23は所定の角度回転した後に停止し、このと
き紙管容器本体1と共にクランプ腕36を収容し
受け部材30がリング装着ステーシヨン26に配
置される。
リング装着ステーシヨン26では、プラスチツ
クリング取付け装置のターレツト40はターンテ
ーブル23と同期して間欠的に回転されるため、
紙管容器本体1の上側にプラスチツクリング2を
持つた案内シリンダ41が同軸状に整合する。
そして、押込みパツド43がエアーシリンダ4
5により伸張され、プラスチツクリング2を案内
シリンダ41から押し抜き、紙管容器本体1の上
端部に正確に嵌合させる。
この後ターンテーブル23が回転し、第2図に
示すようにプラスチツクリング2を装着された紙
管容器本体1はリング溶着ステーシヨン27に回
転移動される。
第3図に示すように、リング溶着ステーシヨン
27では、超音波振動装置48のホーン49の先
端部がプラスチツクリング2の内周面に嵌合し、
超高速度で振動させる。このとき、プラスチツク
リング2の外周部の突条が紙管容器本体1の内装
フイルム1aと摩擦し、この摩擦熱でプラスチツ
クリング2の突条が溶融して内装フイルム1aと
接合される。このとき発生する摩擦熱はホーン4
9の先端部に伝達されるが、このホーン49は冷
却空気パイプ51から噴出孔52を介して吹付け
られる空気により常に冷却されるため、連続的に
プラスチツクリング2を多数溶着した後も、この
ホーン49に熱が蓄積されない。
更にターンテーブル23が回転すると、クラン
プ手段35は排出ステーシヨン28に移動される
と共に、円筒カム22のカム溝22aにより上昇
されて受け部材30より上側の高位置に移動され
る。そして、クランプ腕36を開放した後、紙管
容器本体1がコンベア等を介して排出される。
[効果] 以上明らかなように、本発明による溶着装置に
よれば、ホーンにプラスチツクリングの摩擦熱が
蓄積されず、したがつて、連続的に多数のプラス
チツクリングを溶着する場合にも、容器本体に対
して正しい位置に正確に溶着することができ、効
率よく紙管容器を製造することができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1 紙管容器本体の上部に溶着されるプラスチツ
    クリングに当接するホーンと、このホーンの周部
    に前記プラスチツクリングとの当接部から所定の
    間隔を介在させて環状に配設した冷却空気パイプ
    と、この空気パイプのホーンに面する側に穿たれ
    た複数の空気噴出孔とを備え、前記プラスチツク
    リングに当接するホーンの部分を一定温度に保持
    させたことを特徴とする超音波溶着装置。
