Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、例えば自動車用エンジ
ン等を車体に支持する防振体構造及び該防振体の製造方
法に関する。
【0002】
【従来の技術】周知のように、例えば自動車の防振体の
製造方法としては、従来から種々のものが提供されてお
り、その一例として本出願人が先に提案した特公昭59
−19018号公報等に記載されているものがある。
【0003】これは、まず金属製内外筒の表面を脱脂し
た後、その表面に接着剤を塗付する。一方、防振ゴム本
体を加硫成形した後、前記内外筒の間に圧入手段によっ
て打ち込み圧入して防振体を組み立てる。その後、誘導
加熱装置を用いて外筒または内筒の少なくとも一方を1
60℃〜250℃の温度範囲内でかつ約0.5〜3秒の
時間範囲内の加熱条件下で加熱することにより、発熱さ
せてゴム本体と内外筒の少なくともいずれか一方とを接
着させるようになっている。
【0004】したがって、この製造方法によれば、接着
時間の短縮化によりゴムの劣化を防止できると共に、耐
久性の向上が図れ、しかも加熱後のバネ定数の変化が加
熱前と略同一となり一定の品質が維持でき、また、接着
強度が向上する等の多くの利点を有している。
【0005】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、近時自動車
の高性能化及び高出力化などに伴って車体の軽量化が要
請され、各構成部品をアルミニウムや合成樹脂材で成形
するに至っている。
【0006】然し乍ら、前記従来の防振体にあっては、
内筒や外筒が鋼製の金属材で成形されているため、前記
車両の軽量化を十分に満足させることができない。
【0007】そこで内外筒を合成樹脂材で成形すること
も考えられるが、該合成樹脂材は導電性が極めて小さい
ため、前記誘導加熱装置による高周波加熱ではほとんど
昇温せず、ゴム本体との十分な接着強度が得られない。
【0008】また、合成樹脂材は、熱伝導率も金属に比
べて約1/2程度であるため、熱風等による加熱でも長
時間に亘って加熱しなければならない。このため、ゴム
の熱劣化や量産性が低下するといった問題を招来する。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、前記従来の問
題点に鑑みて案出されたもので、請求項1の発明は、樹
脂成形体と、該樹脂成形体に圧着されたゴム材とを誘導
加熱によって接着してなる防振体構造であって、前記樹
脂成形体の内部に導電性を有する例えば炭素繊維等の補
強材を埋設したことを特徴としている。
【0010】請求項2の発明は、樹脂成形体に導電性を
有する例えば炭素繊維等の補強材を予め埋設すると共に
、表面に接着剤が塗付された前記樹脂成形体に加硫ゴム
を圧着し、その後、該樹脂成形体を誘導加熱装置により
高周波加熱して樹脂成形体と加硫ゴムを接着させたこと
を特徴としている。

【作用】前記構成の本発明によれば、樹脂成形体に導電
性を有する例えば炭素繊維等の繊維補強材を埋設したた
め、該樹脂成形体に加硫ゴムを圧着した後、誘導加熱装
置により高周波加熱を行なうと、該高周波電流が繊維補
強材を導通して樹脂成形体全体が効果的に加熱される。 したがって、前記金属を用いた場合と同様に短時間で接
着剤を活性化することができ、ゴムの劣化を防止しつつ
接着強度の向上等が図れる。
【0012】しかも、構成部品の軽量化が図れることは
勿論のこと、繊維補強材によって樹脂成形体自体の強度
が向上し、耐久性や耐腐食性に優れたものが得られる。

【実施例】以下、請求項1及び請求項2の発明に係る実
施例を、テストケースを示す図1〜図3に基づいて説明
する。
【0014】図中1は合成樹脂材を主体とした外筒、2
,2は各外端部にフランジ部3,3が溶接により固着さ
れた金属製の内筒、4…は該外筒1と内筒2,2との間
に圧入される円環状の防振用のゴム材である。
【0015】前記外筒1は、その外径が後述の誘導加熱
装置の電磁コイル5,5との一定のクリアランスを保つ
ために82.6mmに設定してあり、その内部には炭素
繊維材の円筒状繊維補強材6が予め埋設されている。こ
の繊維補強材6は、肉厚が約3mmのピッチ系炭素繊維
のプリプレグシートの積層体が外筒1の全体に埋め込ま
れている。尚、この炭素繊維は織り込み状のものでもよ
い。
【0016】また、この外筒1(CFRP)の内周面に
は、プライマーを塗付して70℃程度の温度で乾燥させ
た後、接着剤を塗付し乾燥させておく。
【0017】前記内筒2,2は、予め外周面にショット
ブラスト,バーカライジング処理等を行ない有機溶剤で
脱脂し、その後、外周面にプライマーを塗付して70℃
程度の温度で乾燥させた後、接着剤を塗付し乾燥させて
おき、インジェクションやトランスファー加硫等で内筒
2,2の外周面にゴム材4…を円環状に加硫成形すると
同時に、接着する。
【0018】その後、図2に示すように各ゴム材4…を
外周に一体成形した内筒2,2を、外筒1の両端部から
圧入手段を介して圧入する。この圧入長さは、外筒1の
両端部開口縁から外側の各ゴム材4,4の外端縁までの
深さが約70mmとなるように設定した。
【0019】前記誘導加熱装置は、図外の高周波発振器
と該高周波発振器から最大10KWの高周波電流が出力
される一対の電磁コイル5,5とを備えている。この電
磁コイル5,5は図3に示すように円環状を呈し、巾が
25mmの銅材で形成されていると共に、内径が105
mmに設定されており、外筒1と同心上に配置されると
共に、1つのゴム材4に対して跨ぐように外筒1外周側
から囲繞するようになっている。
【0020】以下、本実施例と、外筒を金属製にした従
来例の実験結果を比較した表1に基づいて説明する。

【0022】まず、各電磁コイル5,5を図3の如く配
設した。そして、誘導加熱装置は、高周波電流が120
〜130A、周波数600KHZ、発振時間を7秒に設
定した。ここで、本実施例の繊維補強材6を埋設した樹
脂製外筒1と従来の金属製外筒の肉厚は夫々3mmに設
定した。
【0023】そして、所定の発振時間が終了した後、速
やかに接触式の表面温度計にて加熱部位数点の温度計測
を行なった。その後、各フランジ部3,3を捩り試験機
に取り付け、5deg/minの速度で静的な捩り試験
を行ない、その時に示した最大トルクをもって接着強度
とした。
【0024】この結果、表面温度は、従来例が160℃
〜180℃であるのに対し、本実施例ではこれより略同
一あるいはそれ以上の150℃〜200℃まで上昇した
。したがって、本実施例では繊維補強材6によって導電
性が金属の場合と同様に上昇していることが明らかであ
る。更に、接着強度は、本実施例では従来の金属に比較
して測定値が若干低いものの、金属の場合と同様にゴム
材の破断に至るような接着反応が確認されており、した
がって、十分な接着強度が得られることが明らかである
。尚、表1中破壊個所のRはゴム材の破断を示している
【0025】また、発振時間も7秒足らずであるから、
ゴム材の熱劣化が発生しないばかりか、量産性も金属の
場合と同様に十分に向上する。
【0026】しかも、外筒1が、樹脂材と炭素繊維補強
材6で形成されているため、軽量化と耐腐食性が満足さ
れると共に、補強材6によって外筒1自体の強度が向上
し、優れた耐久性が得られる。
【0027】また、補強材6を積層体に形成したため、
外筒1を短時間でかつ全体を均一に加熱することができ
る。
【0028】尚、本発明は、前記実施例に限定されるも
のではなく、補強材を炭素繊維の他に導電性の高い金属
材やその他のものに変更することも可能である。また、
外筒の他に内筒にも適用できることは勿論のこと、筒状
以外の樹脂成形体にも適用できる。

【発明の効果】以上の説明で明らかなように、本発明に
よれば、樹脂成形体の内部に導電性を有する補強材を埋
設したため、誘導加熱時に該補強材を介して樹脂成形体
全体に効果的に加熱される。したがって、金属を用いた
場合と同様に短時間で接着剤を活性化することができ、
ゴム材の劣化を防止しつつ接着強度の向上が図れると共
に、量産性も十分に向上する。
【0030】しかも、樹脂材をベースとしたため、全体
の軽量化と耐腐食性が満足されると共に、補強材による
樹脂成形体の強度が向上する。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】  樹脂成形体と、該樹脂成形体に圧着さ
    れたゴム材とを誘導加熱によって接着してなる防振体構
    造であって、前記樹脂成形体の内部に導電性を有する補
    強材を埋設したことを特徴とする防振体構造。
  2. 【請求項2】  樹脂成形体に導電性を有する補強材を
    予め埋設すると共に、表面に接着剤が塗付された前記樹
    脂成形体に加硫ゴムを圧着し、その後、該樹脂成形体を
    誘導加熱装置により高周波加熱して樹脂成形体と加硫ゴ
    ムを接着させたことを特徴とする防振体の製造方法。
