However, since the upper and lower running tools are each installed independently on the partition panel, it is difficult to assemble them, for example, by relating their positional relationships, and it is difficult to assemble them, and it is difficult to assemble them with covers, etc. to improve the appearance. There was a problem that it became complicated. For this reason, Mikiakiaki
There is one shown in Publication No. 58-115683. In this type of shoji, the rotating shaft is placed inside the frame arranged in the vertical direction at the end of the shoji, together with the rotating shaft mounting member, and by placing it inside the frame in this way, the rotating shaft appears The mounting member is hidden from view to provide a good appearance. However, if the shoji is placed inside the frame that makes up the shoji, it is necessary to remove the frame during maintenance and inspection, which takes time and effort, and the frame, which is one of the parts that make up the shoji, has to be removed. There was a problem in that the shoji could become distorted when removed, making maintenance and inspection difficult.

ある。 A plurality of partition panels 4 are built so as to be freely movable between an upper rail 1 fixed to a lintel and a lower rail 2 fixed to a sill. These partition panels 4 have upper and lower rails 1,
2, and by bringing adjacent ones into contact with each other, the opening in the room can be closed and partitioned. In such a closed state, the locking means provided in the upper and lower portions of one side of the partition panel 4 locks the movement of the partition panel 4, fixes the position of each partition panel 4, and secures the partition panel 4. It is made so that it cannot be opened. To open the partition panel 4 and release the partition, operate the lock handle 6 of the partition panel 4 at the right end in FIG. The partition panel 4 at the right end is rotated around its right end portion so as to be approximately perpendicular to the upper and lower rails 1 and 2 to open it, and then the remaining partition panel 4 is moved slightly within the range of its locked state. By releasing the contact between the partition panels 4, the lock state of the remaining partition panels 4 is automatically released, and then, as shown in Fig. 3, the right end portion of each of the remaining partition panels 4 is released. It is rotated around the center to create a non-partitioned state. The partition panel 4 thus rotated into a non-partitioning state is gathered at the left end of the upper and lower rails 1 and 2, so that the opening in the room can be opened wide and the partition can be released.

Since the traveling mechanism is housed and installed in the recess, it is easier to install the upper and lower traveling tools by storing and installing the traveling mechanism in the recess, compared to the method of installing the traveling tools separately in the upper and lower parts. Moreover, since they can be assembled in the recess, maintenance and inspection are also easy.Furthermore, since the opening of the recess is covered with a joint cover formed in a U-shape that conforms to the shape of the recess, it is easy to finish with a good appearance. Furthermore, when performing maintenance and inspection of the traveling mechanism section, there is an advantage that the parts can be easily maintained and inspected by removing the joint cover. Furthermore, the joint cover can make the traveling mechanism part invisible from the outside, and the presence of the elastic cushion material prevents impact from being applied to the traveling mechanism part when the partition panel is closed. Furthermore, there is an advantage that the elastic cushion material can be brought into contact with the ends of other partition panels, so that the partition panels can be closed without any gaps.
