It relates to a jig for judgment.

In this step, a limit sample is prepared in which the dimension L from the bottom surface c of the electrical contact part b of terminal a to the upper end of the crimped part d is exactly equal to the allowable limit, and this is visually checked by comparing it with the actual crimped wire. I was measuring the bend.

Since the swaged terminals were visually measured by comparing them with a limit sample, there was a drawback that errors occurred due to individual differences.

Electrical contact b to terminal
and a caulking portion d that connects to the electric wire, and these electric contact portions b and caulking portions d are formed between the electric contact portion b and the caulking portion d of the linearly formed terminal a. This terminal bending determination jig is capable of measuring the allowable limit range of bending, and includes a terminal holding base 1 having an insertion hole 2 into which the electrical contact part b can be inserted, and a terminal holding base 1 having an insertion hole 2 into which the electrical contact part b can be inserted. A terminal viewing plate 3 is placed in the direction in which the caulking portion d protrudes when inserted into the insertion hole 2.
The terminal viewing plate 3 has a hole bottom surface P of the insertion hole 2 as a reference surface, and is located at a height corresponding to a predetermined dimensional limit value from the reference surface to the electrical contact portion b. It is characterized by forming a bending judgment surface 4 that can judge the bending dimension of the caulked part d, and instead of this bending judgment surface 4, a see-through hole 5 for bending judgment may be provided as described later.

3 is provided. The upper end of each terminal viewing plate 3 is opened to form a horizontal bending determination surface 4 for determining the bending of the terminal.

A predetermined bending dimension limit value L is determined at the height from the bottom surface c of the terminal a to the upper end of the caulking portion d. Then, the upper end surface of the terminal viewing plate 3 is inserted into the terminal insertion hole 2.
Using the hole bottom surface P as a reference, the height from the hole bottom surface P is equal to the bending dimension limit value L, and is used as the bending determination surface 4.

Note that the limit value L of the bending dimension of the terminal is based on the bottom surface c of the terminal a as shown in FIG.
If the axis P' of is used as a reference, it becomes L'.

As shown in Fig. 2, after inserting the electrical contact part b of the terminal a with the wire w crimped into the insertion hole of the terminal holder 1 and aligning its bottom surface c with the hole bottom surface P, which is the reference surface,
From the side of the terminal viewing plate 3, the bending judgment surfaces 4 on both sides,
4 are visually checked so that they are flush, and if the caulked portion d protrudes above the judgment surfaces 4, 4, it is immediately judged that the bending is too bent.

You can also do it. In addition, terminal a, as shown in Figure 4,
In some cases, the caulking part d is laterally bent (twisted) with respect to the electrical contact part b, but this can be done by shaping the insertion hole 2 into a shape that allows the terminal to be inserted laterally. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 5, the terminal a has a crimp portion d that bends not only upward (bend up) but also downward (bend down). This can be done by forming an insertion hole 2 in the hole.

In this way, the bend determination portion provided on the terminal viewing plate 3 can be changed depending on the bend determination position of the wire crimping portion d with respect to the electrical contact portion b of the terminal a and the manner in which the reference plane is taken.

That is, the former is a sufficiently thick terminal viewing plate 3' which is made by integrating the terminal viewing plates 3, 3 on both sides in FIG. 1, and a judgment surface 4' which is made by integrating the bending judgment surfaces 4, 4. In the latter case, the jig shown in Fig. 7 was similarly modified to form a sufficiently long see-through hole 5'. The dimensional differences are set to be L and l, respectively.
