である。5(a) and 5(b) are a top view and a side view, respectively, of a conventional paper separating device excluding the paper loading table, and 21 is a sheet loading table having a downward slope in the paper conveying direction, 23 As shown in FIG. 5(c), the bins 23a and 23b are integrally molded in parallel to each other, and the separating plates 24a and 24b are attached to the roller 22 with the separating plates 23 inclined relative to the conveyance path of the paper. This is a support member in which bottles 23a and 23b are fitted into slightly larger holes 24c and 24d, respectively, so that the separation plate 23 can be freely rotated. Further, 25 is a spring that presses the separation plate 23 against the roller 22.

Close to 2. When the roller 22 is rotated in the direction of the arrow in this state, the bottom paper passes between the roller 22 and the separating plate 23 due to the frictional force with the roller 22, and only one paper is separated.

If the separator plate came into contact with the separator plate, the separator plate was supported from both sides of the separator plate, so in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the roller, the separator plate could only rotate in the direction of the play between the axis of the separator plate and the bearing. Because the separator cannot move, the pressing force of the separator plate against the roller surface is not uniform on the left and right sides of the separator plate, causing skew or double feeding.

Support shaft 3 so that it can be moved freely
A support member 5 supports the separation plate 3 by fitting the support shaft 3b into a hole 4a having a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of b, and a spring 5 presses the separation plate 3 against the roller 2.

Even if the play between the support shaft 3b and the support member 4 is the same as before, the separation plate rotates at a larger angle than before, so installing the separation plate after long-term use may result in deterioration of accuracy or wear of the rollers. Even if the separation plate comes into contact with the roller surface diagonally, the separation plate can rotate along the roller surface, so double feeding and skewed feeding of sheets can be prevented.

Since it can be rotated along the same direction, double feeding and skewed feeding of paper can be prevented.
