If contaminated, especially if thinner or the like is used as a solvent, there is a risk that long-term inhalation will cause serious damage to the respiratory and nervous systems of workers. Therefore, in the past, the paint spraying section was housed in a large paint booth, and diffused paint particles and solvent particles (hereinafter referred to as paint mist) were vented to the outside using an axial flow fan installed on the ceiling of the booth. However, if you set up a paint booth like this,
Although it is effective as an environmental measure, it cannot avoid contamination of the filter installed in front of the axial flow fan in the booth.
Therefore, it takes time to clean and replace these, and in order to apply a coating evenly on the painted part itself depending on the shape of the C-shaped steel, the number of spray nozzles, It was necessary to adjust the position, etc., and even after adjustment, the paint film still had the disadvantage that it was likely to be thick or thin. In addition, this system also had the disadvantage that a large amount of paint was wasted because the residual paint inside the booth was not collected but released to the outside.

It is easy to maintain the system, etc., and the whole can be formed into a small-capacity booth. At the same time, the paint mist that is dispersed at the same time as the paint is sprayed spreads uniformly over the surface of the long material, and the remaining part is It is an object of the present invention to provide a coating device for long-shaped materials from which paint can be easily removed.

Means for Solving the Problems The problem solving means of the present invention is to provide a small paint scattering room 5 that surrounds the long shape material in a bag-like manner in the painting booth 4 through which the long shape material A enters and exits. A paint spraying nozzle 10 is provided so that the sprayed paint collides with and scatters on the wall or other members in the same room to generate paint mist, and similarly a solvent (thinner) spraying nozzle 15 is provided in the scattering room.
and means for causing the paint spraying nozzle to spray while the elongated material passes through the paint scattering chamber, and means for causing the solvent spraying nozzle to spray after the elongated material passes through the paint scattering chamber. This is a long-shaped material coating device.

The case where a rust preventive paint is applied to this will be explained. First, the channel steel is pretreated by removing oil and removing rust. In this way, when the channel steel is fed from the inlet 8 of the scattering chamber 5 to the air spray type paint spraying nozzle 10 as described later, the rust preventive paint, such as lead mixed with lead in a drying oil vehicle, is applied to the nozzle. Red paint gushes out. The sprayed paint hits the surface of the channel steel in the room and bounces off with the air, as shown in Figure 2, or hits the indoor wall or obstacle rod 18 and bounces off as shown in Figure 4. and disperse. The splashed particles further bounce off other objects, and the generated turbulence turns into paint mist, which fills the scattering chamber 5. In this state, the channel steel advances toward the exit, so that along with the paint that is directly sprayed, a paint mist is applied to the entire surface, and a uniform paint film is formed on the surface of the channel steel. Once the channel has escaped from the scattering chamber and the paint spray nozzle 10 has stopped, the solvent spray nozzle 15 sprays a solvent, for example thinner, onto the inner walls of the scattering chamber 5 and on the interior contents. As a result, the paint in the room that is being cured by oxidation is dissolved and accumulates at the bottom of the scattering room along with the thinner. The paint dissolved in the thinner is discharged from the discharge port 14a and collected.

A is an elongated member, and in this case, it may be a lip-shaped channel steel. H-type steel or the like may also be used. Furthermore, the material is not limited to steel, but may also be wood or the like. Reference numerals 2 and 3 are conveyors for feeding long shaped materials provided before and after the coating booth 4. Reference numeral 5 denotes a paint scattering room provided in the booth 4 so as to surround the elongated material A at the passing position of the elongated material A that enters the painting booth 4 through the entrance 6 and exits from the exit 7. It consists of a cylindrical chamber with an inlet 8 and an outlet 9 through which the elongated material can be moved in and out, the inner diameter of which is small in order to ensure effective scattering of the sprayed paint. Reference numeral 10 denotes an air-spray type paint spraying nozzle installed in the paint scattering chamber 5, which is fixed to a frame 11 inside the chamber, as shown in FIG. It is directed towards. 12 is an automatic coating machine that sends paint to the nozzle 10, and 13 is a paint tank. Paint tank 1
The lower end of the paint recovery pipe 14 that comes down from the outlet 14a at the bottom of the scattering chamber 5 is inserted into the upper part of the scattering chamber 3. Reference numeral 15 denotes a thinner spray nozzle, which is installed at the rear of the room and slightly tilted toward the entrance side, so that thinner mist is scattered to various parts of the scattering chamber 5 when the thinner is sprayed. 16 is a thinner spraying machine. Reference numeral 17 denotes an axial flow fan installed on the ceiling of the painting booth 4, which sends paint mist and thinner mist escaping from the inlet 8 and outlet 9 of the scattering chamber 5 to a duct (not shown) and exhausts it outdoors. This exhaust may be performed underground from below the booth 4. The limit switch LS1 is connected to the long profile A as shown in Fig. 3a.
When the tip of the same-shaped material A passes through the scattering room entrance 8 as shown in FIG. 3b, the automatic coating machine 12 is operated, and as shown in FIG. 3c, While the long profile material A is passing through the nozzle position,
It sprays paint. limit switch
The LS2 detects that the rear end of the long material A that has been painted has passed through the booth exit 7, finishes spraying the paint, and starts the thinner spraying machine 1 as shown in Fig. 3d.
6 is operated to spray thinner from the thinner spray nozzle 15 to each part of the scattering chamber 5 for a certain period of time using a timer. By spraying the thinner, the remaining paint is washed out to the bottom of the room, and the paint hardened by oxidation is also melted and collected at the bottom of the room, where it is collected into the paint tank 13 through the collection pipe 14. When the limit switch LS2 is turned off, the timer operates and thinner is sprayed. Even if the tip of the long material A reaches the limit switch LS1 while the timer is operating, the switch will not operate and the conveyor 2 will stop. The shape material A waits in front of the entrance 6, and after the thinner spraying is finished, the conveyor 2 moves and the shape material A passes through the scattering chamber entrance 8 and is sprayed with paint. However, the paint spraying and thinner spraying may be performed manually. Further, the paint spraying nozzle 10 is not limited to an air spray type, but may be a high pressure airless spray type.

The paint sprayed from the horizontal nozzle 10b is sent to the scattering chamber 5.
The paint mist hits the inner wall of the long profile A and scatters into paint mist, which coats the outer surface of the long profile A. The lower two nozzles 10c once strike the obstacle bar 18 diagonally and scatter to form a spray. Apply paint mist to the inside surface of lip A.

Also, exhaust members such as filters are less likely to get dirty. Furthermore, since there is no need to reduce the concentration of paint mist to prevent component contamination, the coating booth itself can be made smaller. Also,
Since the sprayed paint and solvent are collided and scattered in the small chamber and become a mist, the amount of paint and solvent consumed is small, and the mist generating means is simple and the number of nozzles is small, so it can be configured almost only with nozzles. When paint is sprayed in the paint scattering chamber of a small room, paint tends to adhere and accumulate inside the chamber, but in the present invention, the paint that is sprayed first and adheres to the members in the paint scattering chamber is removed by the solvent that is sprayed later. It is characterized in that it cleans the paint-scattering room by washing it off and makes it easy to collect excess paint.
