[Detailed description of the invention] (Technical field) The present invention relates to a housing structure for equipment mounted on a satellite, particularly for equipment mounted on a satellite that has characteristics of high rigidity and strength, is inexpensive, and can be manufactured in a short period of time. This relates to the structure of the housing.

(Prior art) In general, satellite equipment is required to be small, lightweight, and have high strength and rigidity, and many devices must be mounted on a limited mounting surface. It was necessary to stack the equipment on board the satellite in two or three tiers. Therefore, the structure of the housing itself for onboard equipment onboard the satellite is inevitably required to be lightweight, as well as high-strength,
It had to have a highly rigid structure.

Conventional housings for equipment onboard satellites also require good flatness of the mounting surface due to demands from the electrical functional elements and circuits housed inside. Heat must be transferred by means of radiation or conduction, and for this reason it is necessary to minimize the contact thermal resistance, which requires even higher flatness. From this point of view, thick aluminum alloy is used as the housing structure. The structure was manufactured by machining from blocks. Naturally, the side walls of the housing are also machined to make them thinner and lighter, but in order to improve mounting efficiency, the so-called stack mounting method, in which a housing is placed on top of the housing, is used. The structure must be such that several vertical beams are left on the side walls of the housing installed at the bottom to increase the strength and support the weight of the equipment installed at the top. However, since more and more complicated machining is required, the machining time is increased, and the manufacturing period for the housing becomes extremely long.Furthermore, the housing itself becomes expensive.

(Structure of the invention) For this purpose, the housing structure according to the invention is such that both longitudinal ends of a plurality of band-shaped plates are bent to the outside of the housing, and the bent parts are joined together to form a structure that is attached to the outside of the housing. A symmetrical groove is provided in the lower surface of the plate constituting the wall and constituting the upper surface of the housing, and the upper surface of the plate constituting the bottom surface of the housing, and the outer wall of the housing is fitted into the groove, and the outer wall is bent toward the outer side of the housing. The folded portion, bottom plate, and top plate are also joined in the same manner, and the bent portion has a function of increasing strength and rigidity.

The structure of a conventional housing for satellite equipment is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, and the housing structure according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 1 to 4. The conventional housing structure is machined on the outside and inside from a thick block of aluminum alloy, as shown in FIG. 5, which is a partial plan view, and FIG. 6, which is a side view. That is, the side wall 1, the mounting flange 2 for mounting on the satellite onboard equipment mounting platform, and the upper flange 3 necessary for stack mounting (so-called two-stage mounting) are left at predetermined thicknesses, respectively.
Other parts were machined to reduce weight, and were processed to the limit as far as strength and rigidity allowed. However, in this structure, for example, in the case of two-tier mounting, the weight of the equipment mounted on the upper part must be supported, so multiple beams 4 are required at necessary locations, and these beams 4 are used to make the side walls thinner. This was a major hindrance in the manufacturing process, and was a factor in increasing machining time.

FIG. 1 is a plan view of a housing structure according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a side view thereof. Moreover, FIG. 3 is a cross section along the line A-A in FIG. 1,
FIG. 4 is a partial plan view showing the shape of the groove in section F of FIG. 2 of the bottom plate 12. In Figures 1 to 3, 11 is a top plate, 12 is a bottom plate,
13 is a side wall plate. Top plate 11 and bottom plate 1
2 is provided with grooves 15, 15' into which the side wall plates 13 are fitted. Grooves 15 and 15' are formed symmetrically in plane, and when this groove machining is performed using a numerically controlled milling machine, etc., since grooves 15 and 15' are symmetrical, one
By creating an NC machining program and reversing the program using a mirror image, there is no need to create a new program, and groove machining can be done in one step.
This method has the advantage that the NC machining program can be made very simply by applying cutting feed to the book cutter along the grooves 15 and 15'.

and pasted the two sheets closely together, each with top plate 1.
1 and the grooves 15, 15' of the bottom plate 12 to join them. In the case of a housing for satellite-mounted equipment, this fit-in connection must be made to reduce weight, and aluminum alloy is used as the material in most cases, so depth brazing may be used. The joined bending beam 14 is connected to the top plate 1
1 and the bottom plate 12, the strength and rigidity are increased, and even if another device is mounted on the upper part of the housing structure, the rigidity of the bending beam 14 allows the equipment mounted on the upper part to be mounted without any problem. The load can be supported.

(Effects of the invention) As explained in the above embodiments, according to the satellite on-board equipment housing structure according to the invention, it can be manufactured very simply without taking the time required for manufacturing, and the housing can be easily manufactured. Furthermore, the side wall plate can be manufactured from sheet metal without impairing the required functions, and therefore the manufacturing period can be significantly shortened, which has the effect of providing an inexpensive housing.
