Description
産業上の利用分野
本考案は、過給機の消音器に関するもので、詳
しくは、ブロワインペラとタービン翼車の間に軸
受を有する過給機のブロワ吸込口側に取付けられ
る消音器の改良と、その取付構造の改良に関する
ものである。
従来の技術
従来のこの種の過給機は、たとえば、第4図に
示すような構成からなつている。第4図におい
て、11はブロワ車室、12はブロワ吸入口、1
3はブロワインペラ、14はブロワ吸入口側に取
付けられた消音器である。そして、消音器14
は、大外板15と、吸込金網16と、小外板17
と、前記大外板15と小外板17の間に設けられ
た間隔管18と、この間隔管18の中を通して大
外板15と小外板17を締結している通しボルト
19などとからなり、かつ、これらの各部材が、
すべて分解できるように締結されている。また消
音器14は、ブロワ車室11の小径個所、つま
り、ブロワ吸入口12の所で、取付バンド20に
よつて取付けられている。
考案が解決しようとする問題点
前述のように、従来の過給機における消音器1
4は、ブロワ車室11との結合をブロワ車室11
の小径個所で行なつているので、消音器14の小
外板17を強度メンバーとして、その強度を上げ
て丈夫にする必要があるため、重量の増加とコス
トの増加が避けられないという問題点があり、ま
た消音器14の各部材が分解可能に締結されてい
るため、構造が複雑になつているうえ、いつそ
う、重量が増加するという問題点がある。本考案
は、このような問題点を解決することを目的とす
るものである。
問題点を解決するための手段
ブロワ車室の大径個所の外面には、ブロワ吸入
口側のほうに突出している比較的短いほぼ同一突
出長さの消音器取付座を複数個設け、消音器の外
筒を、その大径個所の直径に対応する直径にする
とともに、多孔薄板で筒状に形成した強度メンバ
ーとし、しかも、その外筒には、前記各消音器取
付座のほうに向けてそれぞれ延長状にステーを形
成するとともに、前記ステーの長さを取付けるべ
きブロワ車室の渦巻室の形状に沿わしめてそれぞ
れ異ならしめて、対応する消音器取付座にそれぞ
れのステーを取付けた。
作 用
消音器の外筒は比較的大径の筒状となつている
ため、薄板製でも、十分に強度メンバーとなり、
したがつて、軽量となり、また多数穿たれた孔に
より、吸込金網の機能も有する。しかも、前記外
筒に延長状に形成された各ステーの長さが、取付
けられるべきブロワ車室の渦巻室の形状に沿つて
それぞれ異なつているので、ブロワ車室に設けら
れるべき消音器取付座は、全数ほぼ同じ長さにす
ることができて、ブロワ車室の鋳物形状が単純化
され、軽量化とコスト低減が可能となる。
実施例
第1図は本考案の一実施例を示し、第2図と第
3図は第1図の一部を示している。第1図におい
て、1はブロワ車室、2はブロワ吸入口、3はブ
ロワインペラ、4は後述する消音器取付座、5は
消音器、6は取付ねじまたは取付ボルトである。
すなわち、消音器取付座4は、ブロワ車室1の
外面の大径個所に設けられて、具体的には、第2
図にみられるように、ブロワ車室1の渦巻室の中
心角で、90°と180°と270°と360°の4か所に設けら
れていて、いずれも、ブロワ吸込口側のほうに向
いて突出している比較的短いほぼ同一突出長さの
ものからなつている。
また消音器5は、外筒5a、吸入フイルタ5
b、吸音材5c、後述するステー5d、内筒5
e、内筒吸音材5fなどからなつている。そし
て、外筒5aは、ブロワ車室1の前記大径個所の
直径に対応する内径dを有して薄板で筒状に形成
された強度メンバーとなつており、かつ、全周に
多数の孔を有して吸込金網の役目をする。しか
も、外筒5には、前記各消音器取付座4のほうに
向けてそれぞれ延長状に形成されたステー5dを
有し、第3図にみられるように、l1>l2>l3>l4と
長さが異なつていて、つまり、取付けられるべき
ブロワ車室1の渦巻室の形状に沿つてそれぞれ長
さが異なつている。そして、対応する消音器取付
座4に各ステー5dが取付ねじまたは取付ボルト
6で螺着されている。いま、第2図にみられる中
心角θと、第3図にみられるステー5dの長さl
の関係を示せば、第1表のとおりである。

>l3>l4と、それぞれ異なつているので、ブロワ
車室1に設けられるべき消音器取付座4は、全数
ほぼ同じ長さにすることができて、ブロワ車室1
の鋳物形状が単純化され、軽量化とコスト低減が
可能となる。
考案の効果
本考案は、消音器の外筒が比較的大径の筒状の
ものからなるため、薄板製でも、十分に強度メン
バーとなり、したがつて、軽量となり、かつ、多
数の孔を有するので、吸込金網の役目をもする。
また消音器を取付けるために、ブロワ車室の外面
の大径個所には、ブロワ吸入口側のほうに向いて
突出している複数個の消音器取付座を備えている
が、前記外筒に延長状に形成されて前記消音器取
付座のほうに向いている各ステーの長さが、取付
けられるべきブロワ車室の渦巻室の形状に沿つ
て、それぞれ異なつているので、前記消音器取付
座の全数をほぼ同一突出長さにすることができ
て、ブロワ車室の鋳物形状が単純化され、したが
つて、軽量化とコスト低減とを図ることができ
