Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the magnetic efficiency and enable adjustment of the reed even in a condition under which the yokes are mounted to a coil frame, by forming the yokes into a structure of two opposing horizontally laid letters 'U' surrounding the coil frame and the reed, and providing an opening. CONSTITUTION:Yokes 10, for the purpose of magnetically coupling a base-end 9a side of a reed 9 and each stationary contact 5, 6, are formed substantially in the form of two opposing horizontally laid 'U' letters surrounding a coil frame 1 and a reed 9 so as to face permanent magnets 7, 8 and the base end 9a. Namely, the hokes 10 are composed of yoke pieces 11, 12 and 13, a first yoke piece 11 being formed in the form of a horizontally laid letter U consisting of two opposing pieces 11a, 11b located overlapping upon the contacts 5, 6 and the magnets 7, 8 and a connection piece 11c connecting these pieces together. A second yoke piece 12 and a third yoke piece 13 are respectively formed into a horizontally laid letter U and a letter L, the former of which is composed of short pieces 12b and a connecting piece 12c and the latter of which is composed of a long piece 13a and a short piece 13b. At a position orthogonally facing the base end face of the reed 9, an opening 13d is formed which enables adjustment of the base reed 9 end. Resultantly, the magnetic efficiency is enhanced and the reed adjustment can be easily made.

The first route is a predetermined gap (including the other end 9b of the lead 9) → the lower fixed contact 6 → the permanent magnets 7, 8, and the permanent magnet 7, 8 → the upper yoke piece 10a (also via the upper fixed contact 5). )→base end 9a of lead 9→lead 9→other end 9b of lead 9→lower fixed contact 6→permanent magnets 7, 8, respectively. Therefore, when the coil 4 is not energized, the lead 9 is attracted to and comes into contact with the lower fixed contact 6.

From this state, move the lead 9 upward to the fixed contact 5.
When the coil 4 is brought into contact with the permanent magnets 7 and 8, the coil 4 is energized so that a magnetic flux flows in a direction that cancels the magnetic flux of the permanent magnets 7 and 8.

However, the above reed relay has a problem in terms of magnetic efficiency. In other words, when the magnetic flux of the permanent magnets 7, 8 flows through the second path, there is a portion that flows as if it were short-circuited between the two yoke pieces 10a, 10b, and the magnetic flux flowing to the lead 9 decreases by that amount, causing the lead to 9 becomes smaller.

In order to eliminate such drawbacks, the applicant of the present application proposed in Japanese Patent Application No. 2-197507 the arrangement of fixed contacts, permanent magnets and leads, and the arrangement of these and the yoke. The main parts are shown in Figures 10 to 12.
The configuration is shown in , where 1 is the coil frame, 4 is the coil, and 5 is the coil frame.
, 6 are fixed contacts, 7 and 8 are permanent magnets, 9 is a lead, 10 is a yoke consisting of a first yoke piece 11 and a second yoke piece 12 and is attached to the coil frame 1, 14 is an insulating board, and 16 is a contact. The terminal group 17 is a coil terminal group. Also lead 9
is integrally formed from the other end 9b provided with the contact surface to the terminal portion 9e via the bent base portion 9a. This thing connects the permanent magnets 7, 8 to the contact surfaces 5c, 6d of each fixed contact 5, 6.
By creating a yoke structure in which the magnetic flux flowing through the first yoke piece 11 and the second yoke piece 12 is difficult to leak, magnetic efficiency was improved. 2
A yoke 10 consisting of a yoke piece 12 is connected to a coil frame 1 and a lead 9.
Since the lead 9 is enclosed, it is no longer possible to adjust the lead 9 after the yoke 10 is attached. In other words, it goes without saying that if the yoke 10 is installed without properly maintaining the dimensional accuracy of the parts, or if the other end 9b of the lead 9, that is, the contact surface position changes when the yoke is installed, the suction force characteristics and spring load characteristics When attempting to align the coil frame 1, the lead 9 cannot be adjusted unless the yoke 10 is removed from the coil frame 1.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to solve the problems, the reed relay of the present invention includes a coil frame having a cylindrical portion and flanges on both sides thereof, and a coil frame wound around the cylindrical portion of the coil frame. a coil, a fixed contact made of a magnetic material disposed on one flange of the coil frame so that the contact surfaces face each other with a predetermined gap, and a permanent magnet disposed on the opposite surface of the contact surface of each fixed contact; It has a long plate shape, most of which is located inside the cylindrical part of the coil frame, the base end is supported by a lead support spring within the other flange of the coil frame, and the other end is arranged so that it alternately approaches and separates from the contact surfaces of both fixed contacts. A reed relay comprising a lead made of a magnetic material and a yoke attached to a coil frame to magnetically couple the proximal end of the lead to each fixed contact,
The yoke is formed into a substantially rectangular shape surrounding the coil frame and the lead so as to face the permanent magnet and the base end of the lead, and the base of the lead is formed at a location facing perpendicularly to the base end surface of the lead. It has a configuration with an opening that allows edge adjustment.

A short piece 13b is attached to the vertical groove 3e in the second recess 3b and third recess 3c. Further, in a portion perpendicularly facing the end surface of the proximal end 9a of the lead 9, that is, in the corresponding portion of the short piece 13b, there is an opening 13 that allows the proximal end of the lead 9 to be adjusted.
d is formed. This opening 13d may be a through hole as shown in FIG. 5, or may be a hole cut out from the tip as shown in FIG. 6, as long as the adjustment jig can be inserted therein. Note that the first yoke piece 11 is thicker than the second yoke piece 12 and the third yoke piece 13.

Reference numeral 21 denotes a base, which includes a lead terminal 16a, an upper fixed contact terminal 16b, a lower fixed contact terminal 16c,
The coil terminals 17, 17 are simultaneously molded and supported at a predetermined pitch. The lead terminal 16a is the support part 15 of the lead support spring 15.
The fixed contact terminals 16b and 16c are directly connected to the fixed contacts 5 and 6. Therefore, each of the above members is attached to the base 2.
1. A cover 22 is filled with thermoplastic resin so as to seal each member together with the base 21. When the cover 22 is filled with thermoplastic resin in this way, the third yoke piece 1 is inserted after the base end adjustment of the lead 9 is completed.
A slightly thicker film 13e is pasted on the opening 13d of No. 3 to close it.

Although the cover in this embodiment is filled with thermoplastic resin, it is of course possible to use a general box-shaped cover. In addition, the yoke is explained as being composed of three yoke pieces, but as proposed earlier, it is composed of two yoke pieces, or there is no short piece of the second yoke piece. There may be.

Effects of the Invention The reed relay of the present invention has a substantially rectangular shape in which the yoke surrounds the coil frame and the lead so that it faces the permanent magnet and the base end of the lead, so leakage of magnetic flux is reduced and the magnetic flux is reduced. Not only is efficiency improved, but even when the yoke is attached to the coil frame, an adjustment jig can be inserted through the opening of the yoke to match the attraction force characteristics and the spring load characteristics.
