Claims (1)
- ポンプハウジングに回転自在に挿通されてイン
ペラーを駆動させるシヤフト側に密嵌された回転
環と、上記ハウジングの内周に気密担持されると
ともにバネで軸方向に付勢されて上記回転環と摺
接する固定環とを備えたメカニカルシールにおい
て、回転環の摺動面外周部に形成されて外径側へ
遠心ポンプ圧を生じるスパイラル溝と、回転環ま
たは固定環の摺動面外周部であつて上記スパイラ
ル溝の内径端と対応する位置に形成された環状溝
と、外端が固定環外周に開口し内端が上記環状溝
に向けて開口する吸入孔と、この吸入孔に封着さ
れ水のみを透過する半透膜とを備えてなることを
特徴とするウオーターポンプ用メカニカルシール
。
