Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove restrictions on the sequence of construction of a down- gradient beam, an up-gradient beam, the ascending purlin of a main roof and a main house by enabling a roof to be trussed in the absence of the purlin of the main roof beneath the inside of that portion of an auxiliary roof which projects from the main roof. CONSTITUTION:In a roof wherein an auxiliary roof 2 is projected perpendicular to a main roof 1 and from one side of the main roof 1, connecting fittings 6 are affixed to the upper portion of a bundle 5 laid on a beam 4 at that portion of a roof truss which is located at approximately the center portion of a valley 3 portion defined by the main roof 1 and the auxiliary roof 2. The upper end portion of a down-gradient beam 12 is connected to the down-gradient beam connecting portion 8 of the connecting fittings 6 and the lower end portion of an up-gradient beam 13 is connected to an up-gradient beam connecting portion 9. Further, the lower end portion of the ascending purlin 14 of the main roof 1 is connected to an ascending purlin connecting portion 10 and the horizontal main house 15 end portion of the main roof 1 is connected to a purlin connecting portion 11.

2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 16, a roof is known in which a gable sub-roof 2 projects from one side of a main gable roof 1 at right angles to the main roof 1. Conventionally, the horizontal purlin 15 of the main roof 1 is used as a roof frame in the approximate center of the valley 3 formed by the main roof 1 and the sub-roof 2.
A is constructed in such a way that it passes through the sub-roof 2 shown by A in Fig. 16, and along the valley formed by the main roof 1 and the sub-roof 2 through connecting fittings to the horizontal main building 15A of the main roof 1. The lower climbing beam and upper climbing beam were connected to the climbing main building of main roof 1, respectively.

However, in the conventional example as described above, the main building 15A of the main roof 1 crosses the lower part of the sub-roof 2 in the part indicated by A in FIG. If this part of the main roof 1 is to be made into an open space, the main building 15A of the main roof 1 will be exposed across the lower part of the sub-roof 2, resulting in a poor appearance and the problem that it cannot be made into an open space. In addition, conventionally the main roof 1 of the main roof 1
The lower climbing beam, upper climbing beam, main roof 1 climbing purlin, etc. could not be constructed until after 5A was constructed, and there were restrictions on the order of construction.
