2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, vehicles have been equipped with devices that detect the amount of engine oil and, when the oil amount falls below a predetermined level, display a warning to that effect on the front panel of the driver's seat. The liquid level detection device used in this device is generally of the so-called electromagnetic detection type, in which when a float holding a magnet moves up and down according to the liquid level, a magnetoelectric conversion element installed on the fixed side detects this and outputs a signal. be.

FIG. 1 is a partially exploded perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, the float 1 is ring-shaped;
A columnar sensor section 2 passes through it. The support member 3 has a flange portion 3a for attachment to a container (not shown) at one end, a sensor fixing portion 3h for fixing both the upper and lower ends of the sensor portion 2, and the flange portion 3a and the sensor fixing portion 3h. A horizontally extending connecting part 3c having a lead wire through hole 3b for inserting a lead wire for taking out an output signal from the sensor part 2 to the outside of the container is formed by a synthetic resin material into a substantially L shape. It is formed by integral molding. The sensor fixing part 3h includes a hollow cylindrical upper end fixing part 3f extending horizontally from the connecting part 3c, and a connecting part 3.
The leg part 3d extends vertically downward from c, and the lower end fixing part 3g extends from the lower end of the leg part 3d in parallel to the upper end fixing part 3f. They are each fixed to the lower end fixing part 3g. The upper end of the sensor section 2 is integrated by fitting into the hollow cylindrical upper end fixing section 3f, and a lead wire (not shown) from the sensor section 2 is inserted into the through hole 3b. Sensor part 2
The lower end of is fixed to the lower end fixing part 3g with a screw 8 as shown in the figure.
