(Prior Art) As is well known in the art, in many buses, a folding door device consisting of a plurality of (usually two) door members pivotally connected to each other so as to be foldable is installed at the entrance/exit opening. has been done. The above-mentioned folding door device is normally expanded to substantially form one plane to close the above-mentioned entrance/exit opening by an actuator consisting of a pressure-responsive device comprising a piston and a cylinder that slidably accommodates the piston. It is also configured to be folded to open the opening for getting on and off. If a passenger inadvertently approaches the folding door device during the opening/closing operation of the folding door device, especially during the folding operation, there is a risk that the passenger may come into contact with the door member and fall down or be injured.
This risk is particularly acute in so-called non-step buses where the cabin floor and the lower end of the folding door are substantially on the same plane. In order to prevent this kind of danger, a warning device including a detection device consisting of a light source and a photocell that activates when a passenger attempts to enter the opening/closing path of the folding door, and a buzzer that responds to the detection device is installed. It is immediately thought to install a safety device that stops the operation of the actuator using the output signal of the phototube, but the former warning using a buzzer or the like does not ensure that the passengers are aware of the danger. On the other hand, when the latter actuator stops operating, it unnecessarily lengthens the time it takes for passengers to get on and off the bus, which hinders the speedy operation of the bus. There was a problem with the actuator control mechanism being complicated and expensive.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) To effectively prevent the danger caused by passengers entering the operating path of the folding door when the folding door provided at the boarding/disembarking opening of the bus is opened/closed. The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an inexpensive device that can be directly viewed even by the most inattentive passenger.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention has been devised in view of the above, and consists of a plurality of door members that are pivotally connected to each other so as to be foldable, and are extended so as to substantially form one plane. In the device comprising a folding door which closes the opening for getting on and off by folding the door and opens the opening for getting on and off by folding, a passenger enters within the displacement trajectory of the door member due to opening and closing of the folding door. In order to prevent this, a belt is stretched between the free end of the folding door and a compartment structure such as a partition wall in the compartment, and the belt is connected to a retractor attached to the folding door or the compartment structure. thing.

(Embodiments) Examples of the present invention will be specifically described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The reference numeral 10 in the figure generally indicates a folding door provided in the boarding/exiting opening 12 of the bus compartment, and the folding door includes a plurality of folding doors (two in the illustrated embodiment) which are pivotally connected to each other so that they can be folded together. door members 10a, 10
It is composed of b. The door members 10a and 1
As is well known, each door frame 14 has a glass 18 held by a weather strip 16, and is further provided with a protection bar (not shown), and both are connected to each other by a central hinge 20. It is connected so that it can be folded into the passenger compartment. Further, one of the door members 10a has a vertical edge opposite to the central hinge 20 connected to the opening 12 for getting in and out by means of a pivot 22.
The other vertical edge member 26 of the access opening 12 is pivotally connected to one vertical edge member 24 of the door member 10b, and the other vertical edge member 26 of the door member 10b on the side opposite to the central hinge 20, that is, the free end of the folding door, is A weather strip 28 is provided which cooperates with the door member 1 to maintain air/water tightness.
Adjacent longitudinal edges of 0a and 10b or central hinge 2
Weather strips 30a and 30 that cooperate with each other to maintain air and water tightness are also provided on the parts connected by
b is provided. A folding door opening/closing actuator 32, which is well known per se, is connected to the door member 10a, and in the illustrated embodiment, the actuator 32 is connected to the door member 10a.
is schematically shown as a compressed air-responsive pressure-responsive device consisting of a piston and a cylinder as an example, but it goes without saying that any structure can be adopted. A partition wall 34 is provided inside the bus compartment to separate a seat portion (not shown) from the opening 12 for boarding and alighting. A retractor 36 that is the same as or of the same type as the belt retractor is attached via a mounting bracket 38, and the belt retractor 36 is covered with a safety cover 40 around its outer periphery. On the other hand, at the free end of the door member 10b, there is a tongue 44 that locks the end of the belt (webbing) 42 wound around the retractor 36.
is fixed. the belt retractor 36;
The belt 42 and tongue 44 are widely used in vehicles such as passenger cars and trucks, and therefore extremely inexpensive ones can be used. Further, in the illustrated embodiment, two waist belt type belts are arranged side by side, but it is of course possible to use only one belt or a three-point belt.
(However, since the purpose of use is different from the original seat belt, the emergency locking device normally provided on the retractor 36 should of course be removed or left inactive.) Orito 10 is a regular route bus,
It is provided in the central opening 12 exclusively for getting off the vehicle. but,
Of course, it can be provided at the opening for getting on and off, and it can also be installed at the opening for getting on and off at the front, which is normally used only for getting on and off. Now, during normal running of the bus, the folding door 10 is moved to the door member 1 by the actuator 32, as shown by the solid line in FIG.
0a and 10b are held in a substantially coplanar closed or extended position. Next, when a passenger is dropped off at a bus stop or the like, the door member 10a is rotated by the actuator 32 around the pivot 22 toward the inside of the vehicle, and the door member 10b is then rotated around the central hinge 20. It moves and is folded, passing through the A1 position and A2 position shown by the dashed-dotted line in the figure, and finally reaches the fully open position, that is, the completely folded position, shown by the double-dotted chain line A3 . (During this time, the door member 10b has its upper edge, lower edge, or both upper and lower edges connected to a rail (not shown) provided on the corresponding upper and lower edges of the opening 12.
Guided by grooves etc. ) In the closed position of the folding door 10, the belt 42 is stretched between the free end of the door member 10b and the retractor 36, delimiting a triangular space to prevent passengers from entering when the door is opened, and This has the effect of making this clearly visible to passengers. In the case of this embodiment, the belt 42 is wound up by the retractor 36 and stretched between the retractor and the tongue 44 during the opening of the door.
Although the belt comes into contact with the pivot joint between the door members 10a and 10b, there is no problem in practical use since the belt is originally made strong. However, if desired, by moving the mounting position of the retractor 36 to the vehicle body center line side from the illustrated position, the belt 42 and the door member 1 can be
Interference with the connecting portions of 0a and 10b can be prevented. Further, although the illustrated embodiment relates to a so-called non-step vehicle in which the floor of the vehicle compartment and the lower edges of the door members 10a, 10b are substantially on the same plane, it is of course applicable to a bus with steps. It is clear that the same applies. Also, belt 4
2, it is generally desirable to adopt a so-called warning color of red or vermilion so that passengers can easily recognize its presence, but it is also possible to use a color that is the opposite of the basic color of the interior of the vehicle to improve visibility. It is advantageous in terms of improvement. Furthermore, contrary to the above embodiment, the retractor 3
6 on the folding door 10 side, and attach the tongue 4 of the belt 42.
4 may be attached to the vehicle body structure side such as a partition wall.

(Effects of the invention) According to the invention, when the folding door provided at the boarding/exiting opening of the bus is opened/closed, especially when it is opened, there is a risk that passengers may enter the displacement trajectory of the door member and be injured or fall. This is advantageous in terms of safety because it can effectively prevent this. Furthermore, it is possible to use a generally widely used belt device for vehicles, which has the additional advantage of realizing a very inexpensive construction.
