(イ) 産業上の利用分野
本発明はビデオ用の磁気ヘツドを研磨する際に
回転可能に配された治具にヘツドベースを取り付

けられると共にバネ手段によつて前記平面受け台
の端部に当接する押圧手段と、前記治具本体に前
記ヘツドベースを取り付ける時又は取り外す時に
前記押圧手段を前記バネ手段による付勢力に抗し
て一時的に変移させる手段と、前記治具本体に対
し上方から前記ヘツドベースを載置するように供

第1図は磁気ヘツドの研磨装置と共に本発明の
ヘツドベース取り付け装置を平面図として示した
ものである。1はヘツドベース取り付け装置であ
り、回転治具本体2と、3個の変移駆動手段3,
4,5を有している。変移駆動手段3,4,5は
エアシリンダによつて形成されており、そのシヤ
フト3a,3b,3cは、それぞれ矢印方向に移
動して回転治具本体2側の押圧手段に作用する。
6は#8000という比較的粗研磨用のテープ7を走
らせて研磨する第1の研磨装置、8は#12000と
いう微細研磨用のテープ9を走らせて研磨する第
2の研磨装置であり、前記治具本体2にヘツドベ
ースが挿着され、前記変移駆動手段3,4,5が
退いた後に回転治具本体2が第1研磨装置6側に
移動して当接し、その状態でテープ7を走らせる
と共に回転治具本体2を回転させて磁気ヘツド先
端の粗研磨を行なう。その後、回転治具本体2を
反対側の第2研磨装置8へ移動し、そこで第2研

この様子は第4図の断面図に分り易く示されてい
る。即ち、回転基板10に植立したピン17に壁
部分12と平面受け台11が固定され、そのピン
17と、押圧板16の下方に突出した小ピン18
との間に張架されたバネ19によつて押圧板16
はピン17側へ付勢され平面受け台11の一端に
当接する。尚、押圧板16は長孔20を介してピ
ン17に嵌合しており、この長孔20の範囲内で
変移が可能である。第4図は丁度押圧板16が外
部から力を受けてバネ19の付勢力に抗して最大
限変移した状態を示しており、この状態でヘツド
ベース21を平面受け台11上に載置し、前記押
圧板16に加える外部力を解除すると、押圧板1

ガイドされて上下動する案内体36と一体に形成
されている。一方、カム33はエア通路が内部に
設けられ、その端部にヘツドベース21を吸着す
る脚部29を有している。制御カム34は通常は
下方に移動した位置にあり、そのため3個のカム
33は互いに離間し、それらの脚部29は広がつ
た状態になつているが、ヘツドベース21を回転
治具本体2の凹所13に与える際には前記筒体3
0に対し制御カム34は上方に移動して第6図の
状態となる。このとき脚部29は互いに狭まる。
このことによつてヘツドベース21の後端がL字

出させるように該磁気ヘツドのヘツドベースを治
具本体に取り付ける装置であつて、回転可能に配
されると共に上面においてL字型の壁を有する壁
部分及びその壁に面する凹所の底面を規定する平
面受け台とからなる治具本体と、該治具本体に変
移可能に設けられると共にバネ手段によつて前記
平面受け台の端部に当接する押圧手段と、前記治
具本体に前記ヘツドベースを取り付ける時又は取
り外す時に前記押圧手段を前記バネ手段による付
勢力に抗して一時的に変移させる手段と、前記治
具本体に対し上方から前記ヘツドベースを載置す
るように供給する供給手段とから成るヘツドベー
ス取り付け装置。 2 前記壁部分と、平面受け台及び押圧手段によ
つて囲まれるヘツドベース取り付け凹所が複数設
けられていることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第
1項に記載のヘツドベース取り付け装置。 3 前記治具本体は、回転基板と、前記壁部分並
びに平面受け台とから成り、前記壁部分、平面受
け台及び前記押圧手段は前記回転基板に植立した
ピンを介して取り付けられていることを特徴とす
